Heya! I am a pretty relaxed, good person. I like to do fun stuff, but I also spend a lot of time working towards my goals. A nice balance of fun and accomplishment is my ideal lifestyle. Not like I am a super go getter or anything, but getting stuff done can be almost as rewarding as fun. And hopefully those two things are not mutually exclusive!

I am a grad student right now, I had a previous career as a contractor. I am almost done with the biggest transformation of my life, and the future (and present) look great!

You can tell a lot about a person by what they like, right?

Books: I have always been a Vonnegut fan. I like Kingsolver too, Poisonwood Bible is a favorite, I am reading the Lacuna now. Kostova is pretty great too. I thought that the Historian was great, and The Swan Thieves was even better! I could go on about books. I really like to read, but only read fiction for fun.

Movies: Everything is Illuminated is super good! I liked the book too, but the Gol Gol Bordello guy was fantastic in it, and I still can't get over it. I like Wes Andersen films a lot too, the Royal Tannenbaums is my favorite but I sorta like them all.

Shows: I think I might like shows more than movies lately. Bored to Death, Portlandia, Parks and Rec, just to name a few.

Music: I like a lot of music, so I will just mention some of what I have been into recently... Silversun Picups, Sleigh Bells, the Rural Alberta Advantage, the Killers, Girltalk, the Shins...and the list could go on and on and on...

Food: I like all kinds but I am a vegetarian, so there is a limitation. I said strictly veg somewhere on here, but I do eat the fishes when it makes sense, or when I am in a pinch. But really, how far does a fish have to travel to be eaten in Tucson...too far!

I am a strong believer in adaptability, so I like to think that there is nothing that I could never do without. But that is perhaps untrue, or being a little too literal.
Lets just say that I could not do without coffee, or a purpose.

Honestly hard to say. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish one day from the next. Don't get me wrong, I know that Friday is special to a lot of people. But I have always been partial to Thursday.
