I'm a successful, well traveled (US and abroad - over 55 countries), educated and active guy who's looking for that partner-in-crime here in the Bay Area wanting to build a relationship with an amazing woman seeking same.

I work in tech (business development for one of the well known multinationals), but enjoy doing many things outside of work including travel, various sports (biking, running, hiking, softball, golf, SCUBA, etc) as well as cultural events ranging from museums, the symphony, opera and theater (both stage and simple movieplex). Listening to live music in a dive bar works too!

I tend to be very goal oriented and when I set my mind to something I like to see it through.

I'm told women like my smile, and find that I can be very engaging in conversation about a broad range of topics from the banal to intimate.

I read non-fiction when I have the time (finished Reinventing Fire, finished The Black Banners and The Most Powerful Idea in the World as well as my NYT and Economist). I watch most anything from action movies to foreign films. Ditto on music though I do prefer that old time rock and roll. My podcast list includes Freakonomics, NPR and WTF (need early morning humor too). My up bringing overseas made it easy for me to appreciate a wide variety of the arts.

I need time in the kitchen (love to cook), participating in sports, getting time out of the US, my online NYT, an occasional cigar (everyone needs a vice, right?) and ultimately companionship with that partner-in-crime.

I think about where my next great adventure will be at somewhere around the globe - or at the local farmers market - and hoping to find that partner to share in that adventure...imagine "Up" for each other.

I spend time with friends over drinks and dinner, or if it's been a hectic work week, I prefer to chill and make a go of it on the weekend.
