My self-summary
I once got asked on a date by a murderer who called himself 'Attitude'. I said no. If you're a murderer feel free to stop reading now.

I have a three-legged dog. This is not for protection against aforementioned murderers. I just like him.
I like being in the same room as talented, intelligent, creative people. I don't like being in the same room as narrow-minded, judgemental snobs. Or people who slurp their tea.

I have a tremendous ability to get really into a particular sport for the duration of a tournament and then not care AT ALL about it for the rest of the year. Some may call it glory hunting, I call it efficient enthusiasm.

What else....I like doing things and going places, learning something new. I am normally busy. If I do something, I try to do it properly.
What I’m doing with my life
I've been working in the arts for the last four years but have just started working for an entrepreneur.
I’m really good at
being competitive, making risotto, humming accurately.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told by a few people that I'm a classic english rose. I usually tell them to shut up so that counts as modesty right? Also, I talk about Tim Minchin too much. Far, far too much.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I find trashy crime thrillers irresistible, otherwise I tend to be guided by the recommendations of my friends.

I love Ealing Comedies, Casablanca, Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca, Brief Encounter and the Harry Potter films...obviously. The West Wing restores my faith in the world normally at least 9 times per episode. Big choral works like Mozart's and Verdi's Requiem are quite simply ace but that's not to say I don't enjoy dancing at an ungodly hour to the worst music the 80s had to offer.

Funny people are good, in particular Greg Davies, David O'Doherty, Adam Riches and The Penny Dreadfuls.

I like food - making, eating...
The six things I could never do without
Red Wine
Clever friends
Radio 4
David Attenborough's nature programmes
Henry VIII
Laughing
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Tudors (the actual people not the TV programme), what I hear on Radio 4, and what I see on the London stage.
On a typical Friday night I am
with very excellent people.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes I find it really difficult to decide who I love more: Henry VIII or Tim Minchin. It's a genuine problem.
