My Self-Summary
I was born and raised on the concrete shores of the East River on
the Lower East Side. I am a psychologist. I am interested in people
but don't think I have the answers by any stretch. I am sometimes
plagued by the sense that I could be doing better but don't know
how.
What I’m doing with my life
Just moved. I work at a large city hospital and have a small
private practice. In my spare time I try to come up with pithy
verses of witty seduction and put them online in the hopes of
convincing attractive single women to email me. It is my hope that
by sprinkling in a few 10 cent words they will think that I am
smart and by be being sarcastic they will see that I am funny and
convey a sense of coolness, like I'm not really taking this all
that seriously and that I am maybe a bit quirky. All the while I am
nagged by the fact that these idiosyncratic expressions of
originality are to distract from the fact that who I am and what I
want, if stated most simply and honestly would sound prosaic.
I’m really good at
Adapting to my surroundings. Answering questions with questions
without asking the question why.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a bit shorter in person than on the big screen.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite books are the ones that I am able to finish. My
favorite movies are the one's that articulate things that are just
past the tip of my tongue. I also like films that show me a world
that I would not have otherwise seen. Music- needs to be somewhat
organic and pleasing. Food- can't stomach spicy but love Asian, try
to eat clean and healthy. I think not being able to cook for
yourself is ridiculous.
The six things I could never do without
One of the only things I remember from biology class is that all
living things must, eat, excrete, respirate, move and reproduce. I
would add comfortable shoes and socks and some ability to feel like
there is a connection between what I do and the way I feel, the way
I am treated, and the experiences I have.

my future and my next meal
On a typical Friday night I am
a bit tired. A few months ago, on the couch watching a movie.

In the course of doing psych testing with a 10 year old boy I was
told I had "gay hands"
(as an aside, during that same testing he drew 2 male figures with name plate medallion rope chains, the one with his name on it went down past his knees, the other stopped at the belly. When asked to explain this image he stated "mine is mad long and yours is mad small")
