So, what to say....I graduated from college two years ago and have been working in HIV research ever since. I originally took the job because it seemed like something impressive to have on a resume, but ended up loving it and so I stayed. I have only recently decided to go back to school to get a master's which I will be starting part time this fall so that I can continue to work in the lab full time.

I like to keep myself busy, so in addition to my full time job I also tutor and babysit. I love kids and definitely want some in the future, but babysitting is my way of being around them before I'm ready to have some of my own. I was raised in a big family-I have seven siblings-so I can easily get bored when no one is around. I like to go out and about to meet new people and do new things, but my favorite thing to do is just stay in with a smaller group. I also love playing games-board and card, but not so much video because I am terrible at those! I like to watch live sports, especially my little brothers (3 in highschool) because they are the most important sports players in my opinion. I also enjoy traveling, although I haven't had a chance to do too much yet.

I have a very practical and matter-of-fact approach in decision making but am generally very emotionally involved in my life otherwise. That sentence doesn't make sense, but I don't know how else to say it. I don't really know what to say on this, so if you actually want to know what I am like then talk to me! It would be much more effective!

Right now I am actually at a fork in the road of my life. I love my job, but know I will not stay here forever. I am working on my master's starting this fall, and I am hoping to teach with it, but I may still change my mind! Many things interest me, so I kinda have learned to expect it to change frequently!

I am very good at multi-tasking. I actually pride myself in this ability more than any other one, and am almost always looking for ways to do more than one thing at a time! I am also very good at seeing the good side of things...sometimes to a fault, but usually I think it's a good thing.

Many people have told me that they notice that I smile a lot more than other people, and that I laugh a lot.

As far as books go, anything that is an easy, interesting read. Right now I am working on the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Movies-I typically go for either horror or comedy depending on my mood. By horror I mean the real horror that is actually scary, although the cheesy ones are ok by me too, and for comedy I love stupid humor. Music I am pretty open on. I'll listen to anything, but I was raised on a farm, so there will always be a soft spot in my heart for country! For food, I am not at all picky. I love most everything!

Everything! I am definitely a thinker...I daydream a lot, and plan many things out in my head before I do them.

Hanging out with friends...usually on my balcony with a beer in my hand!
