I like to laugh, and would love catch dinner, or watch a good movie or show with a great guy. I love talking about art, music, culture, or even (gasp!) religion and/or politics.

I like to laugh, and would love catch dinner, or watch a good movie or show with a great guy. I love talking about art, music, culture, or even (gasp!) religion and/or politics.
I'm a volunteer with the local order of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, where I raise money for local charities, and go spread joy and silliness throughout the community.
In my free time, I co-host/DJ at the local college radio station, WPRK 91.5 FM, as well as doing a bunch of random different theater-related things here in town, including the occasional performance at The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I've written, directed and performed in the local Fringe Festival, and love culture jamming and performance art (e.g. The Cacophony Society, Church of the SubGenius). For more information about all of that "performance stuff", or to just say "hi", you can find me on Facebook a lot.
I love strange, first-person fiction (e.g. Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, Microserfs by Douglas Coupland), and books about society and culture (e.g. Male Impersonators by Mark Simpson, Why People Believe Weird Things by Michael Schermer, Party Monster by James St. James).
MOVIES:
I love cult/b-movies; the campier, the better! I especially enjoy the works of John Waters (and by proxy, anything involving Divine), Troma films, comedic horror films (such as "Night of the Demons", "Creepshow", and "Sleepaway Camp"), and silly 50's/60's sci-fi thrillers. I like rock operas like "The Who's: Tommy", "Hair", "Jesus Christ Superstar", and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch". I also am an egg-head, and love most documentaries, especially ones about history and/or the performing arts including "The Legend of Leigh Bowery", "The Cockettes", "The Nomi Song", "Paris is Burning", and "Sick".
MUSIC:
I have a very wide taste in music, but I especially love 90's alternative, (such as Nirvana, Eels, Radiohead, The Magnetic Fields and Tori Amos), punk/post-punk/new wave bands (such as Devo, Pansy Division and The B-52's), new romantic era (including Siouxsie & the Banshees, The Cure, and Christian Death) and electoclash (like Peaches, Fischerspooner, and Miss Kitten).
FOOD:
I enjoy cooking my own simple concoctions at home or for someone special. When I go out to eat, however, I love Italian and Chinese (especially "New York style" take-out), Mexican, Cuban, and predictable Americana (deli food, burgers, etc.). I'm a really picky eater sometimes, so when I find one or two favorites on a menu, it may take an act of god for me to try something new.
2. My Music Collection - I listen to music almost every waking hour. Heck, I sometimes need the TV playing in the background to get to bed properly.
3. A Sense of Humor - If you ever can't laugh about something, even the horrible stuff, give it time; you simply haven't found the best part yet.
4. Freedom of Expression - Speak up.
5. Who / What I Am - Go watch the "I Got Life" scene in the movie version of "Hair." Ever feel like dancing on a table?
6. Thunderstorms at Night - I know - I know: it's cliché, but I love it.
- Guys who like guys
- Ages 18–55
- Near me
- For long-term dating, short-term dating, casual sex
I like average guys with a good head on their shoulders. There are no hard or fast rules as to what I think is cute. I really like substantial guys ("cubs" or whatnot), but a guy with big handsome eyes and a great smile seems to trump any body type, size or age.
A relationship would be nice, but that's not a must. If that develops, and what we both want, awesome. If not, something purely physical is always welcome. In either case, I like guys who know what they want, and have good follow-through. No posturing, no games - just fun!
Relationship-wise, I would like to find a guy who is both level-headed and knows how to laugh. I'm a sucker for old-fashioned courting, and like the simple pleasure of sharing some time together. In my book, smart = sexy, so speak up, guys!
Hope to hear from ya!
