My profile is lying, I'm actually 5'1.5", 5'2" with shoes on. That was incredibly lame...

I ride horses in my spare time and work in the horse industry. Also try to get to the gym three times a week as I am a competitive powerlifter. I read a fair amount, enjoy writing, jigsaw puzzles, movies, and the occasional game of scrabble. As far as personality goes, I'm generally laid back, introverted, a bit moody at times, stubborn, and independent. I can be quite teachable if I want to learn and I prefer to think that I have a good head on my shoulders.

I also adore roller coasters and have read the whole of Questionable Content 3 times, though I don't know if that second one is something to be proud of. It drives me up the wall when people feel the need to be "clever" and don't give straight answers to simple questions.

My bullshit tolerance is low and I don't appreciate people who attempt to lie to me or manipulate me. Some people tell me that I have an overdeveloped sense of justice and fairness, which is fine by me. Overly shallow people tend to not interest me as I am totally unwilling to change myself to suit the desires of another person. What you see is pretty much what you get.

Currently I work as a groom/barnhand. Yeah, I shovel shit for a living.

Awkward silences. I rock those. Have been told I'm a decent writer, but I've seen better.

Generally that I'm short.

Books: The Count of Monte Cristo is my hands down favourite book. Keith Donahue is an excellent writer, as is Will Ferguson. If it's a good story, I'll probably try and get into it. I tend to not be too picky with my books.

Movies: Again, if it's a good story, the genre doesn't matter much. Robin Williams movies are generally winners. Death to Smoochy, Good Morning Vietnam, Patch Adams...

Music: Would take all day to make this list. Not a fan of rap/hip hop type music for the most part. Some pop is okay, some sucks. Big country fan. Been getting into indie a lot more lately...favourite band is probably the Corb Lund Band and I make an effort to see them every time they're in town.

Food: I'm a wimp about spicy foods, nothing worse than medium salsa. Don't like fish...other than that, I'm pretty much game to give it a go.
