I am persistent, complex, and simple.
My Self-Summary
My biggest passion in life is
computer programming. I've
been doing it since I was seven years old, and I believe it can be
an art form. People for whom it is "just a job" provoke negative
emotions in me. I have a decent knowledge and understanding of
mathematics.
Though I haven't picked it up in a while, I practiced
violin from a young age. I
find well-written science fiction fascinating and inspiring. I like
to take pictures on my Nikon D-100
camera. I didn't quite finish my B.Math
at the
University of Waterloo, but I did
achieve 100% in Operating Systems in the last term I was there
after adding fine-grained security, pluggable virtual filesystems
and sophisticated IPC mechanisms to a cheesy educational OS
framework called NachOS. I am worried about the
environment. I am also worried
about the state of human
civilization. I have difficulty
throwing anything away -- my storage areas are filled with empty
cardboard boxes and there is a neat stack of a dozen or so empty
inkjet cartridges near my printer. I've found something for life in
karate. I practice
Okinawan Meibukan Gojuryu. I've also found
archery meditational and introspective. I
shoot intuitively without a trigger release, but I'd never shoot
anything living. I find the stability of my aim reflects my state
of mind. I love most animals, but dogs especially. I have a
beautiful
daughter who helps make my days bright.
I'm
separated
from her mother, who is a bit antisocial and very difficult to live
with. Finally, there is but one love in my life, and she left a
large hole in my heart when she chose a divergent path.
What I’m doing with my life

I’m really good at

imagination & my right hand
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about what I am doing at any point
in time. When I'm not doing anything, I think about the person
whose love I don't have.
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday nights are my nights with my daughter. I rarely go out, and
I never go out to socialize of my own accord. I don't drink, so I
wouldn't get much out of the bar or party scenes anyway.
You should message me if
you are waiting for me to message you. I am very bad at making the
first move!
Also, you should message me if:
- People forcing their cigarette smoke on you makes you
angry.
- You are a telepath.
- You are interested in or fascinated by martial arts, and do not
have a snobbish disdain for karate.
- You promise not to cut my beard off while I sleep.
