I'm like a whole bookshelf of books, so to speak.
Imagine if Lydia Lunch & Genesis P. Orridge had bred together, and then, you might have me...
I'm brand new to the Oklahoma City area. Moved here on a whim without really knowing much about the city, or knowing that many people, so, I'm looking forward to meeting new people as friends, I mean, if something else develops, that's fine and all, but yeah, cool new peeps who could show me around town or give me good advice of awesome things to do in this town should definitely feel free to message me.
I used to be a half hermit / half social butterfly. But, as I'm in a new city, I'm a lot less hermit now, trying to do a lot of exploring.
Also, like every other profile I see on this site, there's something I feel needs clarification. My profile says I'm listed as "bisexual", but I feel gender isn't limited to only 2 categories and I find myself attracted to the wide range of genders out there, and actually think the category of gender to be more fluid than binary.
I'm a lottern libertine.
Oh, and I'm bringing back the term "Lottern" by the way. This one ain't in your dictionaries kiddos...
(taken from wikipedia: A popular term that the swing subculture used to define itself was Lottern, roughly translated as something between "laziness" and "sleaziness", indicating contempt for the pressure to do "useful work" and the repressive sexual mores of the time.)
"I can resist anything, except temptation. - Oscar Wilde"
I'm insufferable & insatiable.
Equal parts pessimist & optimist.
Also, I took the Myers Briggs test, and I don't think it applies to me, there were way too many questions where the answers could have gone one way or another, equally.
Intellectual hooligan. (yet too hooligan for the intellectuals, and too intellectual for most hooligans) This can be quite disappointing.
Big fan of autodidacticism...
Also I read a lot of radical history (and have even participated in some already). There's a lot of awesome history out there. A lot of unknown stories of those going against the grain in different places, in different periods of time, in different methods. I am inspired by people overcoming, or even just facing insurmountable odds. I am motivated by those who do. not. give. a. fuck. about convention, or those who do not try to appeal to mediocrity just to get by, to fit in, to not raise a ruckus. Fuck that.
I seek those that will take my hand and face the bullshit head on.
Also, this means that any of you guys on this site with a profile that say's you're "straight", (and thus hiding in the closet), that try to hit on me, I won't even respond.
Let's find strength in each other, instead of cowering and conforming to the crap that's out there now.
Not to mention all those great people who some of us have known who've thrown their lives away to suicide, because they couldn't bear the world the way it is, if I can make the world a place people actually *want* to live in and prevent that, I'd like to.
It has been said that it is better to feel the warmth from the fires of revolt, than the warmth from hiding under the covers. I agree whole-heartedly.
