My self-summary
Just moved to the Phoenix area. Looking to find someone to explore with.

I generally like to spend my spare time electronically, but now that I'm in Phoenix, I'll be adding golf and other tan-inducing activities. Otherwise, my hobbies of choice are video games and movies, and I often indulge both simultaneously.

Also, INFJ, for what it's worth. And I have resting bitch face. Fun times!
What I’m doing with my life
I just started as a software engineer at a cool company in Tempe. It’s freakin’ cool, man. I enjoy coding - It’s awesome. My job is better than yours. ;)
I’m really good at
Cats. And dogs. Animals, really.

Coding. Like, on a computer. It's what I do, I guess.

Getting my ass kicked in video games. Also kicking your ass in video games.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my tattoos or piercings. They're pretty visible.

Also, I tend to be really sanguine in demeanor. The glass is half full and stuff. It’ll always be better in the end – if it’s not better, then it’s not the end. That sort of thing. It means that I tend to be optimistic about most things.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm going to put too much here. Bear with me. Or skip it. I won't blame you.

Wheel of Time series, Sandman by Neil Gaiman

Moulin Rouge, The Fifth Element, The Princess Bride, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Mononoke Hime

Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Upright Citizen's Brigade

FLCL, Evangelion, Outlaw Star

Video Games
Mass Effect (yes, 3 too), Mirror's Edge, Final Fantasy VI & XII, Bioshock & Bioshock: Infinite, Red Dead Redemption

Watsky, Eminem, Modest Mouse, Utada Hikaru

Lasagna, pizza, hotdogs (Gene & Judes is amazing)
Five Guys sucks. Just putting that out there.
The six things I could never do without
Water, air, blah blah blah sarcasm...

The internet (and a computer to use it)
Art - specifically movies and video games, but also TV, music and books/comics
A creative outlet
A place to learn
Delicious, delicious Smashburger

That's enough, I think.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Science. Physics. Faster than light travel and quantum teleportation. Gravity lensing and quantum entanglement. The relative nature of the universe. The fact that something does not exist until it is forced to do so by a measurement. That shit amazes me. I almost double majored into physics in college. I still enjoy reading about it. It’s so fascinating.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Michio Kaku, Brian Greene – I will watch anything these people do.
On a typical Friday night I am
I like to watch movies and play games. Sometimes that’s cuddling up on the couch, and sometimes that going to see Guardians of the Galaxy then going bowling or to the driving range. I’m not into the dive bar scene, but I enjoy a good chill bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I drink “girly” drinks exclusively. Well, also liquor. The point is that I like sweet things, and I don’t care what others think about it.
You should message me if
You disagree that Asuka is the best Eva pilot. Or if you agree, really, because no one ever does, and it’d be nice to find some common ground on that particular subject.

You have a favorite RPG. Mine is Final Fantasy VI. It…kind of defined my childhood and helped shape my beliefs.

You can tell me who Kintaro Oe is without looking it up. Or Hironobu Sakaguchi. The two are unrelated.
