I am gifted, talented, considerate, caring, and very cool.
My Self-Summary
My name is Aaron. I am English. I am tall and slim. I am a student
studying a
computer science programme at
University. I am living in
London. I am
open minded
and interested in other cultures.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a single 25 year old, living alone; I am a mature
student. I have chosen the
university
education path by myself, as it is what I want; I am fully
dedicated...
I wish to further develop my role as a
professional within the
computer industry by
attaining a Masters
degree in the field of computing which
will enable me to have an edge on the competition and allow me to
provide well versed consultation from a complete perspective to
organisations.
I’m really good at
I have used discrete
mathematics throughout my life and I
am well aware and competent in the fields of processor
technology, instruction
sets, Boolean logic, number bases and related
sciences.
Due to
health
problems earlier in my life I was unable to complete my
schooling. However, I
made up for this by
studying from
home on an almost full time basis. I have
read several
computer related
books, manuals, articles and tutorials, I
also practiced what I learnt on test projects and I have associated
myself with other developers on different mediums to keep up to
date and informed.
I used to play
percussion mainly
drum kit until the neighbours
complained. Oh well... It was fun whilst it lasted and I was quite
good at it. I still have my drum kit but it is just gathering dust
until one fine day in the future when I may play again.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am a pretty boy. Well that's what I assume anyway. Perhaps not
though. I really don't know. I am shy and I don't say a lot, so
mostly I'm probably not noticed at all.
I don't talk in "
chat"
language (except the odd acronym here
and there). I find it annoying and insulting. It seems so
unintellectual and just plain bad. I also dislike spelling
mistakes, especially when access to a dictionary of sorts is at
hand [as it usually is] (such as
Google/
One Look/
Microsoft Word) or the
traditional
Oxford Dictionary print
edition.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
BOOKS:
I avoid
fictional books... I am more
into
text books
but then I am a
student so it makes sense. Although,
also because I find reading books very slow. Somehow, I can read
text a lot faster on my computer.
However, I did enjoy:
The
Impressionist by
Hari Kunzru
The
Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by
Mark Haddon
As a child I particularly cared for
books by
Roald Dahl
I also like documentary books, which are kind of like text books in
a way, but not really:
Lies and the
Lying Liars Who Tell Them by
Al Franken
Short History of
Nearly Everything by
Bill Bryson
A
Brief History of Time by
Stephen Hawking
At school for English Literature I read:
Romeo and
Juliet by
William Shakespeare
Animal Farm by
George
Orwell
The Omen by
David
Seltzer
...and perhaps other books too which I no longer remember. In any
case, I enjoyed reading those books, but I wouldn't have chosen to
read them.
MUSIC:
I like most
reasonable music of any genre. Why are some people
obsessed with just one particular genre or one particular set of
bands? I really don't get it. There is so much
good (and
bad)
material out there. Mostly
bad.
I also greatly appreciate silence. Sometimes silence can be more
relaxing than music.
However I particularly
enjoy, in no particular
order:
R&B:
Akon,
Justin
Timberlake,
Aailyah,
Ray J,
Usher,
Rihanna,
T.I., ...and many more
Rock,
Metal,
Punk and
Emo:
Korn,
Killswitch Engage,
Seether,
Against Me!,
AFI,
American Hi-Fi,
Anti-Flag,
Avril Lavigne,
Beck,
Bullet For My
Valentine,
My Chemical Romance,
Coldplay,
Drowning
Pool,
Evanescence,
Garbage,
Green Day,
HIM,
Ill Nino,
In Flames,
Iron Maiden,
Jack Off Jill,
Kittie,
Lacuna Coil,
Queen,
Queens of the Stone
Age,
Rage Against The
Machine,
Placebo,
Radiohead,
U2,
REM,
The Killers,
The Rasmus,
Thrice,
Tool,
Tristania,
Within Temptation,
Yeah Yeah Yeahs,
The Higher,
Creed,
Enon,
Hoobastank,
Inme,
Jimmy Eat World,

Loaf,

black, I just like the music and that's all.

Eminem,
Insane Clown Posse,
Tinchy Stryder,
...and many more
Techno,
Dance,

Pop and
Funk:

Black Eyed Peas,
Outkast,
Savage Garden,
Michael Jackson,
Miley Cyrus,
Nelly
Furtado,
Sarah Brightman,
Mika, ...and many more
MOVIES:
The same goes for
movies. I just like the good ones, and
not the bad ones, and that applies to any genre. I don't feel the
need to write a list of them as it would always be incomplete.
Although I really like films that can make me cry or otherwise
trigger some kind of emotional response, of which there are very
few.
However, I particular enjoyed:
The Kite
Runner,
Babel,
Rendition,
Before
Sunrise and
Before Sunset,
Enchanted,
The Notebook,
Top Gun,
1984,
A Clockwork Orange,
Closer,
Donnie Darko,
S Darko,
Sweeney
Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, all
Star Trek movies,
The Da Vinci Code
and
Angels
and Demons,
Powder Blue ...and many more.
Actually I enjoy most
films with
Tom Cruise,
Tom Hanks,
Johnny Depp, or
Penelope Cruz.
TV:
There was once a time when I would never watch TV, but I was unable
to keep up that habit.
Some
TV
programmes I enjoy watching:
EastEnders,
Grey's Anatomy,
Dollhouse,
South Park,
...more
FOOD:
I believe in
Animal Rights. I am
vegetarian so I don't
eat dead (or alive)
animals. That leaves me with dishes made
from
vegetables
and
roots,
fruits and
berries,
beans and
spouts,
plants and
herbs,
fungi,
nuts and
seeds. There is a lot to eat as a
vegetarian. I
write this because all too many times I have heard people say there
is little to eat as a
vegetarian, well apparently actually
there is.
I particularly enjoy:
Mixed
Salad with
Cranberries,
Olive oil,
Feta Cheese,
Houmous, or
Tzatziki.
Pizza with
olives,
pineapple and
chilli.
Lasagne with
garlic,
herbs and
cheese.
Spicy seasoned
vegetables.
Fried
mushrooms
with
curry
sauce.
Baked
sweet
corn coated with melted
butter.
Asian food such as
seasoned/spicy
Lentils,
Mung Beans,
Red Kidney Beans,
Butter Beans,
Chick Peas and
Chapati.
Avocado and
vegetable soup
or
Guacamole.
Sauerkraut
cooked with
tomatoes,
olives,
cranberries,
garlic,
gherkins,
chilli,
feta, fresh
basil and
herbs and ground
pepper... delicious.
Greek dishes such as
Spanakopita.
Croissants with
St Dalfour
fruit
spreads and
cheese.
Pancakes with
fruit salad,
yogurt,
maple syrup and
clotted
cream
Apple and
Blackberry or
Rhubarb crumble.
Blueberry and
Almond pie.
Cheesecake of
any variety, including
strawberry,
blueberry,
vanilla, or
chocolate.
...and many more dishes.
I can
cook almost all
of the above dishes myself from scratch! I usually buy many of them
ready-made though as it is easier and can taste better too.
The six things I could never do without
That depends on the context:
Elemental:
Air,
Fire,
Water,
Earth,
Aether and my
future wife.
Technological: My
Computer or
Laptop,
Sony Mobile or
Cell phone,
Internet,
Apple iPod,
Sony Car Stereo, and
TV or rather my
LG HDTV complete with
Sky+HD of course.
Survival: Somewhere to
live,
food,
water,
gas,
electricity,
insurance
Rights: Human Rights, Animal Rights, Plant Rights, Planet Rights,
Universe Rights.
Why plant rights? Well some vicious people once murdered an Aloe
Vera plant I left on the communal kitchen table where I used to
live. They murdered it for no reason except their sick twisted fun,
and it seemed nasty and horrible. I don't understand why they did
it. It left me upset though. They cut off all of its branches,
leaving only the stem... leaving it to suffer and to die. I wonder
how they would like it if someone did the same thing to them?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
When, where and how will I find my
future wife? I really want to love a girl and for
a girl to love me. I want a pure and natural love. I want a love
without lies and without deceit. I want a love that will last a
lifetime.
What career I would like. I have gone through phases of wanting to
be a novel writer, a film animator, or a construction architect...
a software engineer, a web developer or an artist... Nothing seems
to fit though. My dream is to be a dancer but I know that I can't
dance... and that is a big problem right there. I am very good with
computing, so it seems I will just have to stick with that, even
though it doesn't make me content.
The places that I have visited
abroad. Where and when should I visit
next? I have seen some of (in order of visiting)
Guernsey,
Sark,
France,
Ireland,
New York and
New Jersey,
Holland,
Belgium, and
Germany. I would like to visit many more
places though, hopefully
further afield.
It doesn't exist but there should be a movie called "When
girls change their photos to
monochrome in a pathetic attempt to look more attractive." with the
tagline "It doesn't work and even if it did work, it is highly
pointless because eventually inevitably full vibrant colour would
be seen."
Whether my profile is either too short or too long? What should I
add and what should I remove? Any suggestions?
On a typical Friday night I am
Most of the time I am at
home. I don't go out drinking as I
don't drink.
I
don't
smoke either. I am a
good boy and I try to stay
healthy. If I do go out I then have
some kind of
Coffee
or
Tea,
Milkshake or
Smoothie, or perhaps
Hot
Chocolate.
I like to watch the rain fall on my windows. I like to watch the
lightning and listen to the thunder, except when it gets too close
and I'm worried for my electronic equipment. That doesn't sound
romantic anymore, I know...
Whenever the moon is in clear sight, I usually admire it. It is so
perfect and so wonderful. I always look up when I notice it. I
never look at the sun though, so as to avoid being blinded. I do
enjoy occasionally looking at photographs of it though, and other
space related photography.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I am a
very nice
person! You wouldn't know this about me unless I either tell you
here or you met me. So here it is. I am
nice.
I was once electrocuted by a faulty power supply unit, causing me
to be thrown back some distance and left rather shocked and
confused.
You should message me if
You are a
nice
girl who would like to
find yourself a
nice boy!
Well I hear that
girls tend to like bad boys, so perhaps
I'm doing myself a disservice by saying that I'm a
nice good boy.
I am interested in making new friends too, but only with honest
people who don't want to play with my feelings or otherwise make
fun of me... I am not here for those kind of people to enter my
life.
I am very open and I will probably reply if you message me...
