My Self-Summary
I'm a widow looking for some friends and maybe to find someone to
spend the rest of my life with. I have kids and they are either
living on their own or attending college. I like [music],
[reading], [woodworking], [video games], [baking], & spending
time just hanging out with friends. I enjoy eating out, but I also
like to cook and stay at home. I like to go to the movies, but I'm
perfectly content to watch movies on DVD or on cable.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a software engineer working for a great company. I spend time
with family and am hoping to find that special someone that loves
me and I can love in return.

Solving problems, mediating disputes (with 4 kids you have to be
good at this), making/building things, hugs

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love to read and will read almost anything. Currently I'm reading
some romantic fantasy books, but I like pretty much any book as
long as the author is good. Music: mostly I listen to soft rock,
but my favorties also include some country, jazz, & classical
-- like books, I'll listen to almost any type of music (except
rap... I don't belive that rap is music :)). Movies: action,
adventure, comedy, I know this is getting old, but so far I haven't
found a genre that is totally off the books. Food: well this one is
different, I won't eat just anything - some of my friends say I'm a
picky eater, although if I haven't tried it I will give it a
chance, once I decide I don't like it I don't want to try it again.
I love a good steak and grill often throughout the year just to
have a steak done right.
The six things I could never do without
My family, a good pillow (hate hotel pillows, I always wake up with
a crick in my neck), my health, love, affection, someone to hug
I spend a lot of time thinking about
so many things I can't really pinpoint a single one, somedays I
might be thinking a lot about my grandkids and what they need,
somedays I might be thinking about you (the man I want to spend the
rest of my life with)
On a typical Friday night I am
right now, I'm usually sitting at home, but that is going to
change!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm lonely. After 21 years with the same man, I'm finding life
really lonely without him.
