Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.

striving to become a better person, challenging myself daily... are
all pieces of who I am. I have survived every challenge life has
thrown at me. While I wouldn't wish some of my experiences on
anyone, they have all shaped me into who I am today -- and I like
who I am.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After raising my daughters as a single parent for the past several
years, I have returned to school to finish my formal education. I
still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but -- hey, I
seem to be doing ok! (I actually do know what I want out of life,
and am working toward specific goals -- but we can explore that
later.) One thing is certain - volunteering
will be part of the mix. I have
been exploring different aspects of my artistic
side, and have had several
pieces in juried shows. I don't claim to be good, but I have been
enjoying the creative
flow -- I think that it helps
keep me sane! Fly
are things that I love, but
don't always find time for...

I don't even know where to start! I like almost every genre of
books, and have probably 1500 books in my library, from
sci/fi-fantasy to classics, period romance to westerns, esoteric
philosophy to text books, and everything in between -- I have
most of them
more than once. History books, both past and future, are
fascinating to me, as are antique and junk shops. I have been known
. When it comes to movies, I like just about
anything except horror, and I will occasionally make an exception
to that. When it comes to comedy, Lewis Black and Jeff Dunham are
king! I love almost all types of music - folk, new age,
alternative, world, rock (classic, metal, pop), bluegrass, country
(the real thing), classical... even some rap. Not too into TV, but
love the education channels. And the Big Bang Theory.
The six things I could never do without

honesty, integrity, art

Ok, make it groups of six...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where my life is going, what is the best way to get there... If I
am ever going to find that one special person that will walk beside
me, be my best friend, partner and lover... What can I learn today?
What the best way is to help people achieve their dreams. How much
I miss intimacy. Why there are sick people who hurt children.
Intentionally creating safe community. How meaningless sex is
without a relationship. What I can do to become a better person.
How to create what is in my head... Why it is that I can be very
outgoing and sociable, except when I am attracted to someone -- at
which point, I become rather shy and toungue-tied. How much I miss
my dog, a companion for 15 years. RIP Lucky dog.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either at home with my grandson, doing homework, at a gallery
opening, or enjoying some great music
at a local concert...
