My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm ambitious, driven, and goal-oriented. I spend a lot of time being productive; I love creating things, whether it's stylistic art or complex machines. I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic at times.

I have a passion for sports cars, and love taking road trips just for the sake of driving on fast, winding roads. I hope to be the proud owner of an expeditious sloop someday soon. I like museums and orchestra concerts, but enjoy the great outdoors just as much.

I'm genuinely a good person, and positively contributing to humanity is important to me.

I think I'm like Tennessee Williams.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently a scientist researching treatments for spinal cord injuries. I'm also working towards launching a startup software company.

If that fails, my plan is to rob a casino.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Math, science, anything that requires a lot of precision.
- Creative writing
- Photography
- Athletics - I ran track a few years ago, and I'm a superb swimmer.
- Racing street cars (autocross). I'm an exceptionally good driver.
- Sailing - well, I will be an expert sailor soon :)
- Making life take the lemons back.

The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm tall and thin. My metabolism is on crack, and cocaine, and drinks way too much on weekends.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm not going to limit myself to six things, sorry.

1. A car - preferably a Porsche.
2. Beyerdynamic DT 880 - really spiffy headphones.
3. FiiO E7 - what good are spiffy headphones without a spiffy engine to drive them?
4. A laptop - don't really care what kind, but I write software, so this is important.
5. Amazon Kindle - I like reading. I don't like carrying around a bookshelf.
6. A DSLR - and a nice collection of lenses.
7. Personal hygiene products - I'm a cleanly kinda guy.
8. A watch - preferably a swanky Swiss one.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
sailboats. I have a strong urge to empty my savings account and use my engineering degree to build a long-range, self-sustaining sailboat and leave the pointless monotony of American life behind. I'd sail around indefinitely, exploring the world and all it has to offer, taking on the occasional contract job to support myself financially, volunteering my technical and scientific acumen to solve humanity's problems.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
driving my roadster way too fast with the top down, speeding away from my latest heist, the cops hot on my trail, in general being really cool and interesting.

Or more typically, at home in my armchair, listening to the National and drinking tea while reading the Great Gatsby.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once had a crush on Carmen Sandiego, and I like her theme song way too much for my age.
