I'm a Midwestern transplant (from Kansas City, college in Minneapolis) who's figuring out what his life is going to be through a long-term program of trial and error. Basically I mean accepting new experiences as they come, and doing my best to be ready and open to them.

I'm working as a validation engineer/whatever else we need today in bio-pharmaceutical production and living in Fort Collins enjoying my free time by exploring the Colorado outdoors and reading as many new books as I can.

I'm that kind of quiet guy with the decent smile, except in pictures. Then I just look nervous.

Books: It always seems like my most recent feels like my favorite. It's really just the most fresh in my memory. At the moment: This is How You Lose Her by Junot Diaz. Come back in a few weeks and I'm sure I'll have changed my mind.

Movies: I love the old Hitchcock movies. "Rear Window" is probably my favorite one. Then I love the Pixar movies, especially the Toy Stories. Partially for nostalgia, and partially because they're still great anyway.

Shows: Mad Men and Parks and Rec are my two current favorites.

Food: I'm always available for pizza, salt and vinegar chips, or carrot cake.

A warm shower before work.
Spending time with friends.

Dark, rainy days.
Cloudless days.

going and grabbing a couple of drinks with friends to chat about a lot of unimportant things, and a few important things. That or a quiet night catching up on my reading or TV for the week.
