Besides X-MEN comics? Tough one. I like lots of stuff. HP, His Dark
Materials, Stephen King, blah blah. Over not such a long time ago,
I've read all of the Hunger Games books. Mockingjay was probably
the worst thing I've read since the Ghost Rider movie adaptation -
woof. The Lovely Bones was another recent read, and it was
fantastic. Currently, I'm in the middle of Moneyball, Princess
Bride, abd Reservation Blues. No clue which I'll be finishing
Movies I can watch over and over without wanting to shoot my face
off: The Scout, Major League, Old School, Hellboy, Ferris Bueller's
Day Off, Clifford (oh god, yes, Clifford), The Princess and the
Frog. Nightwatch and Daywatch were damn awesome, too, but like
Pan's Labyrinth, I can't watch them over and over because I have to
read them. Bummer, foreign, non-dubbed films! Why do you have to be
so good??? Speaking of foreign films, Oldboy was ridiculously
fucked up and amazing.
Shows are limited for the most part to whatever's good on Netflix.
Since finishing Bernie Mac, I haven't really found a new show to
watch on there, but i want to get into Orange is the New Black.
I've recently been on an anime kick, and that has included Trigun,
Cowboy Bebop, abd Dragonball Z - sorry, geek alert. I also like
HIMYM, X-Files, Seinfeld, Friends, and Dexter before the end of the
Lithgow season. I'm scarred for life.
Belle and Sebastian (that's god damn right, I started with Belle
and Sebastian because I'm a man's man and that music is legit
awesome), Pixies, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford and Sons, The
Killers (pre Sawdust or whatever their shitty 3rd album was
called), Pink Floyd, The Smiths (and solo Morrissey), The Cure,
most classic rock, plenty of alternative, no country, not much
Food - I'm open to trying new things, but I like most of what I've
had. I want to try sushi, but it seems gross. I enjoy a good
Chinese buffet (South Park Meadows!).
