Hi, I'm Lori. I love learning (especially about conscious living),
reading, writing, metaphysics, ministering to others, being
positive, spending time outside connecting with the mother nature,
having guests at my home, music, playing board and card games
(scrabble is awesome), eating healthy, and having conversations
with others. I have 2 grown children and 5 amazing grandchildren
and I would like to share my life with a loving man. I would like
us to love and accept ourselves, each other, and other people.
What I’m doing with my life

My goals in life are to be at peace, loving toward myself and
others, to experience joy, and to help others to experience these
things in their lives. I am learning to live in the moment and that
says a lot. I spend time in nature every day and keep my life as
simple as possible so I can enjoy it.

My friends and family say that I am good with words. I am very
understanding and compassionate of others, I am very giving in any
way I can to others because I enjoy doing it and am fulfilled by
it. However, I have very healthy boundaries and take good care of
myself. Also, I am a good cook.

My favorite book types are non-fiction and include self help, new
age, metaphysics, law of attraction, conscious living, and
nutrition. I crave knowledge and personal development. I love Wayne
Dyer, Esther Hicks, Louise Hay, Eckhart Tolle and Thich Nhat Hanh
and many, many other conscious living authors. I love easy
listening music, oldies, 60's to 80's, pop, soft rock, some
country, and just a little little jazz and classical. If the music
makes me want to sing, dance or close my eyes and soak it in, then
I love it.
I actually really enjoy fruits and vegetables, and meat. I drink a
lot of water and a little herbal tea. I like to prepare my own food
so that I know it is healthy. I also occasionally enjoy Chinese,
Thai, Italian, Mexican food and eating out.
The kinds of movies and tv shows that I like are dramas,
psychological thrillers (but not horror), futuristic movies, chick
flicks, family movies, and some comedies. However, I seldom watch
movies or television shows and don't have a television in my home.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I spend time with my siter and her dog outside and inside. I cook
for us and we do projects around the house together and I read
Eckhart Tolle to her. Some times we go special places like the
orchard to pick apples and we walk on a country road near my house.
Life is good.
