I'm an aspiring filmmaker. I've been part of a few films already. Its probably the most alive you can feel to be part of making something beautiful and putting it into the world. Turning your vision and ideas into some tangible and real and being left with something that makes people feel everything all at once.

The films I want to make film are ones that focus on the space and the dialog between people. The story of what it means to be us. The human condition and what it means to be human.

How I live my life.

I live my life with a fire, a heat, and an unpredictability.

I prefer spontaneity to order, passion to complacency and fervor to apathy.

Books - "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac, Anything Tom Robbins, Camus ("The Plague"), Kafka, "Ringworld" by Larry Niven, Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov, 2001 by Arthur C. Clark, LOTR series, "Freakanomics", "Devil in the White City" and "Foucaults Pendulum" by Umberto Eco.

Movies - Eternal Sunshine was a great movie. The idea of reliving early memories of a relationship with the person you love (even if it's only a dream) is so romantic. One of my favorite scenes was the honesty in the scene where he was pressured into hurting the bird. I also love No Country For Old Men, In America, City Of God, The Agronomist, Noise, Garden State, The Interpretor, The Dreamers, Be With Me, The Housemaid (These are all great indie films that you should go look for right now. This very second.) I'm not going to lie. I'm big into film.

Music - Jeff Buckley, Fiona Apple, Bright Eyes, MGMT, the XX, Postal Service, Ben Harper, Damien Rice, Regina Spektor, Sufajan Stevens, Peter Gabriel, Radiohead, Muse, Pete Yorn, Florence and the Machine, Edward Sharpe, Gorillaz, Weezer, Blur (Think Tank), Louie Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. I also love soul, blues, jazz and classical music.

Well I guess having the name "Lost In Thought" this should be a big section for me. Ha. I think about what makes the world work. Having gotten a double degree in Econ and Bio I spend a lot of time thinking about what people's motivators and incentives and drives are. Why we do the things we do. Its all the stuff I like to use in my work. The essence of the human condition.

Also I'm a dreamer. In fact, that is probably the single most true thing about me. I will always be a dreamer.

Watching great film or at a Film Fest (I'm a fan of indie/foreign films), at a concert. At the Art Institute or some other gallery or at a poetry slam at the Green Mill. Being spontaneous. I love Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind. If you dont know what that s you need to find out.

Wondering if you are going to keep my interest or not. This may come off cocky but I want to be challenged and to pushed and thrilled.

I'd like to meet people with substance. I want a girl that is confident in her opinions and her voice and intellect. A woman that likes to think about the world and discuss it, who questions and challenges where they end and everything else begins, who want to sink their teeth into the world and take an enormous bite.

Oh yeah: it helps if you appreciate a good Jeff Buckley song.
