Well then, self summary hmmmmmmmm. My friend's call me Mike, I'm 23 (yeah yeah i know you already can see that). I have lived in Wilmington for a little more than 2 years now and it has been great. I most likely will either be one of those people that you adore or that you avoid on a regular basis (I come off kind of odd sometimes but what is normality anyway? My interactions with people tend to vary wildy and i seem to have a knack for making people feel ackward. I enjoy trying to figure people out and i love meeting individuals with actual substance. I'm honest, compassionate, moody, and try to see the best in people. I am a huge artnerd and Im terrible at math. I hate spiders and bees and will flee the scene if i see them around (yes very manly i know). I have spent most of my time here going downtown and would like to find things that are more substancial then the bar scene (though i do like beer). I like random adventures, calm nights and cuddling, tea, streaking, sushi, overthinking, beards, quarky things, sarcasm, people who don't have a stick up their ass, contemplating existence, octopus (what is the plural for that?), nature, robots, monsters, highfives, glasses, the way oil looks in puddles, philosophy, discussion, running amuck, shitty martial art films, and i do not like filling these forms out, ohh and i should say long walks on the beach too. I have seen alot for my age and tend to get along with people who can relate. Anyway. that's a bit of myself. If you want to know anything just message me and ask (that is more natural i think at least over a computer)

Currently I'm working on getting my BFA (Bachelor's in fine arts). Also I am seeking employment again and trying to figure myself out a bit. This is a difficult question to answer! I guess I'm creating a bunch and doing what everyone else in the world is, trying to find the answer to that question.

I love to create in as many mediums as I can. I play guitar and try to write my own music though art is my main passion. I typically enjoy to paint, draw, create jewelry, explore printmaking, and work with mixed media. I tend to be fairly intuitive when reading other people (it can be a blessing or a curse). I also aim to start writing (I used to all the time as a kid) so in the future maybe I will be able to say I have created a decent collection of graphic novels. I can also back it up like a lady if tempted to (though i only bring that out for special occasions).

I'm guessing the fact that i have a beard, i kind of look british (I have convinced strangers that i am on random drunken nights), or that i can be a bit eccentric.

Books Unfortunately I am not an avid reader, I suppose somewhere in life i have been stripped of the ability to sit down and relax with a book (which i intend to change). So in short, Anthony Burgess, Neil Gaiman, Stephen King (He's nostalgic for me), H.P. Lovecraft and random other assorted graphic novels/Dystopian stories.

MoviesI adore movies! Wes anderson films, Michel gaundry films especially eternal sunshine of the spotless mind Charlie Kaufman films, Oldboy, spirited away, the fountain and the director's other films, casablanca, amelie, pan's labyrinth, kill bill and other films by terrintino, train spotting, a clock work orange, paprika, the shining, run lola run, nananananana batman movies (or at least burton's and the new ones, Big fish, american beauty, little miss sunshine, 28days later, the thing, the blob, terrible horror movies, as far as all the others just ask me

Shows In short i love british shows and humor, cartoons, decent dramas/horror, and random nature shows. I will list some for the hell of it. Doctor WHO, Torchwood, Courage the cowardly dog, Firefly, fooly cooly, black books, flight of the conchords, the mighty boosh, arrested development, the office, the walking dead, breaking bad, parks and rec]], [cowboy bebop, paranoia agent, bored to death, and others

music as with anything else i go through phases right now im listening to. andrew jackson jihad, radiohead, neil young pink floyd, broken social scene, portishead, massive attack, the avett brothers, beck, the black keys, nick drake, del tha funky homosapien, modest mouse, queens of the stone age, cocorosie, the knife, the mars volta, iron and wine, the postal service, outkast, tool, the pixies, mr scruff, the white stripes, coldplay, and etc

Food I think i would be swept off my feet if i could find a lady who wanted to make me sushi and watch doctor who together. I like most foods (except for mayonnaise and circular pepperoni, and yes i know it is odd]. I am really partial to seafood, sweets, and most unhealthy food. Ohh and I can't cook (I have managed the impossible act of burning ramen) though i want to learn and will try if treated all proper like.

What strangers on the street are thinking or where their lives are taking them. My own consciousness, why there are not actual monsters or mythical creatures that exist in the world. Why there are not actual superheroes. Art projects, graphic novel ideas, concepts for songs and short stories. love and what that word actually means. Stars and planets and other spiffy things. I suppose i think all the time, I'm typically always in my own head. Ohh and also, whether or not the staffrobot will take over the world (this style guide entertains me)

It could be any number of things, I go through phases. I adore downtown and have spent most nights there for some time. I have also been known to hermit myself in my house and work on a piece of artwork for days at a time. I've spent some putting together art parties, hanging out with friends, playing videos games and getting into antics a wiser man would know not to. To sum it up i guess it varies immensely.

I did not own a pair of jeans until i was 10 and until then my grandparents sent me jogging outfits. So in school i was known as that kid decked out in pokemon jogging clothes, needless to say it did sit well with my reputation. (i have no idea why this came to my mind)

You want to talk! or if your looking for a friend and someone to relate to. I would also be open to meeting someone romantically online buuutttt you would have to treat me like a proper lady first (for example taking me to a movie or pulling a chair out for me or that yawny corny thing in a theater). Or if your just bored i always enjoy talking to new people.
