Okay First things first, if you have kids, then put them first. I'm not going to put you in a situation where you got to choose between me or your kids because I want you to choose your kids. Believe me, I've been in situations where my mom had to choose and she felt guilty that she had to choose. I don't want you to feel guilty at all that you have to choose your kids over me. Second, if you're going to school then don't skip class to spend more time with me. Don't be like .... oh I skipped class for you. I would never ask you to do that, if anything I want you to be at the top of your class. I don't want to hold you back from being what you want to be.
Relationship-wise .... I know how girls have double standards like they want to have a man to work yet spend time with them, they want him to be nice yet they go for the jerks, they want him to be smart yet dumb .... well guess what? I too have a double standard ... I want her to settle yet not settle. In a way I want her to settle down with me but I don't want her to settle on her goals or her dreams. I want her to push forward with her goals and to be better than when she got into this relationship.
Man I was just watching star trek the other today and even tho the episode was in the 90s, it still holds true today. The episode was about a medical officer who served with honor and distinction yet he lied on his application about being the grandson of a romulan terrorist. He was essentially on trial for what his grandfather did. It was such a good episode for todays time. Jean Luc Picard said something like we cannot spread fear in the name of righteousness ... then it reminded me of what MLK said about being judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character
