I am a linguist and an experimental psychologist. I have lived in different countries (China, Singapore, USA and UK) and cultures. The advantage of all these experiences is to get to see all the funny/silly aspects of different soceities/cultures. Sometimes I do not think I belong to anywhere, but no matter where I am, I get used to living in that place quickly.

On a daily basis, I teach and research. My objective is to understand how language information is processed and represented in our human mind/brain. My subject area is in Psychology of Language, esp. with bilingual and multilingual speakers. (this is a really odd statement put here, but just in case others interested in knowing what I am doing most of the time).

Besides my work, I have broad interests in other things, like sports and music. I play volleyball, and I play the accordian. In general, I like to connect with people who are open-minded, driven, and non-superficial.

spending lots of time in front of computer, analyzing data, writing, etc. As time goes by, I hope to allocate time on other matters other than work, to make life more fulfilling.
