Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there! I'm Luis, a life-long Chicagoan giving OKC another
chance. I'm a guy whose life working as a writer shines through his
personality — and through a pretty lengthy summary!
I love to cook & I've been doing so since I was 13. I've
excelled in the kitchen & on the grill to the point where my
cooking brings it all together. And if all else fails, I'll never
go hungry. So, that's nice.
I like the Cubs and share season tickets with friends. I love
baseball, so maybe we'll be able to share nine innings and a beer
next year? Bonus points if the Cubs are good.
I also like the Bears, Bulls, & Blackhawks, while tolerating
the White Sox. (Yeah, that's the nicest I could put it.)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Writing, cooking, backing, grilling, eating, drinking, listening
and searching for my next adventure.
I live an interesting life and trying to fit it all in a box is
restrictive and really doesn't do it justice.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
--My job(s) (duh)
--Baking my friends awesome birthday cakes
--Finding a good parking spot at the mall (which happens to be a a
skill I find tremendously underrated)

I don't read a lot of books, but not because I'm one of those guys
who thinks reading is lame, because it isn't lame. I read a lot

My favorite books are "Moneyball" by Michael Lewis and "Catcher in
the Rye" by J.D. Salinger -- which isn't even a baseball book. Way
to trick me as a child, Mr. Salinger.

New Girl (my guilty pleasure TV show)
I used to have 10,000+ songs on my iTunes before I realized that
was way too many songs to have. I'm down to 7,900. The three most

There are so many things I like, it's hard not to turn this into a
lengthy section. However, my one hang-up is that I don't eat
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Sports (Seriously, I work in sports, what do you expect?)
3. My best friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Baseball (I share Cubs season tickets with some college friends),
summer, arcade bars, new music and traveling — all while
wondering why I made this profile so wordy...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
What's a "typical" Friday night? This should probably be titled:
"On a typical Friday night, I'd rather..."
In that case, I'd prefer to be hanging out with you, but there is a
chance I'm working late, so we could end up doing that on Saturday
night. Or any night for that matter. Why must fun activities be
relegated to Friday nights?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm pretty sure being on this site counts, right? ;-)
