My mantra the last couple of years while living in Eastern Washington was ..Shovel Sand Not Snow!!!
Say that enough times, like "There is no place like home" I merely clicked my the heals of ruby sandals and i was magically transported to the sandy beach of this tropical Paradise called Troncones . To tease you even a bit more..here is a nice little YouTube clip - bit.ly/DiscoverTroncones.
OK for you in the Northern climes Ii think I've done enough damage: Best run before you put a hit out on me :)
I look back at the last sixty years, and admit, I seem to have stuffed a whole lot of living into a short amount of time. It helps to have a bit of gypsy blood coursing through my veins. Maybe we can sit down over a nice glass of wine and we can compare notes on our adventures.
For those that have a curiosity about who I am...I've been described differently by many people, I guess it's what vantage poin .The thing I'm most proud of, is that I've been complimented on being an excellent father....or very honest....or very serious...or a very twisted sense of humor...very civically minded...4H leader, youth advisory board member,...5K race director, with 1,200 runners....asst sales manager for a fortune 100 company, bar tender at red robin, who's claim to fame is single handed making 1000 margaritas on May 19th 1980, day after Mt. St. Helens blew her lid....had hopes of being a sub 4 miler..
OK..I think i best save something for that first date :)
Just read my bio for the first time in over a year...Seems that I could be accused of bragging just a bit...but hey..it's all the truth..with no embellishments. Besides I left out the part about leaping over tall buildings.
Write if curious..Hell...Write if not curious...Just write..it's lonely here in Mexico :)..
