My self-summary
So after a good amount of thought, I'm going to finally clarify what I'm looking for. Someone who I can share my life with and be real around. Someone who can see the little flaws and know that it's what makes me, me, and vice versa. Someone open minded and excited about life. Someone who can take an adventure and just as easily chill back. Someone who will just as soon take a night in with a horror flick and cuddle, but doesn't mind going to the club or a rock show. There's a lot of life out there to be had, and I'm looking for someone to share in that with.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a Bachelors degree in English Literature and that's why the paragraph above is perfectly punctuated, and the spelling's on point as well. I currently work for a media company, but my dream job is probably going to involve music. Music truly is my passion, and I'm good with most any instrument (all the ones I've tried so far anyway).
I’m really good at
Poetry and freestyle rapping.
Discussing philosophy, music, and art.

(To sum up a quarter of a lifetimes skill set or interest list in a single list in one sitting is asking a lot. Message me and I'm sure I'll remember something new XD)
The first things people usually notice about me
People say I'm Charlie Day (Charlie Kelly). Otherwise, my laugh, my love of strange noises and sound in general. My open mindedness about things that make most uncomfortable. My eccentric tastes in music. People have cited my jaw-line and facial structure as outstanding.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Reading is a huge love of mine. I read everything from novels to comics, poetry to magazines. Some of my favorite authors include R.A. Salvatore, H.P. Lovecraft and Haruki Murakami ,among others. Also really big on classics from Dostoevsky to Arthurian legend to Paradise Lost.

Cinema is a big part of my life. Goddard's Breathless, Marx Brothers movies, David Lynch, The Big Lebowski, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Hard Candy, Evil Dead Trilogy, all assortments of bad horror (good horror is seldom found), City of Lost Children, Shaun of the Dead, old horror films, old films in general, Wes Anderson movies, Kevin Smith, Monty Python, In Bruges, Boondock Saints, American Psycho, Akira, Fist of the North Star, The Neverending Story, Labyrinth, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, many more

I love Always Sunny! Adventure Time, Breaking Bad, Orphan Black, Walking Dead, Big Bang, Mighty Boosh, Dr. Who, South Park, Firefly (anything Joss Whedon gets his hands on, really) and a bunch of others. Lots and lots of different anime. Favorites include Neon Genesis Evangelion, JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, Code Geass, Kill La Kill, FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, the "Raildex" series, and list goes on.

Music is where this gets complicated. I LOVE music. Most music. Most all music. Its too hard to list bands, but some of my favorite genres are folk, metal (from the classics to the extreme), jazz, avant-garde, progressive, punk, electronica, trance, noise, video game music, some rap & hip hop, and a plethora of others. I'm always looking for new stuff, so any suggestions are welcome!

Some favorites from genres across the spectrum: Deftones, Frederic Chopin, Kanye West, Type O Negative, Agalloch, The Tallest Man on Earth, Drudkh, Blut aus Nord, Enslaved, Boris, Circa Survive, At the Drive In, The Mars Volta, Aesop Rock, Emperor, Cynic, Death, Opeth, Pig Destroyer, Incubus, For Science, Interpol, Melvins, Mr. Bungle, Tom Waits, Faith No More, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Townes Van Zandt, Chelsea Wolfe, Alda, The Dresden Dolls, Johnny Cash, Nobuo Uematsu, Yes, Death Cab for Cutie, Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Between the Buried and Me, Meshuggah, Devin Townsend, Thou, Deafheaven, Sunn O))), Samothrace, The Cure, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Panopticon, Erik Satie, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Gustav Mahler, Thelonious Monk, Cole Porter, Godspeed You! You do not value philosophical conversation or intelligent discourse along with troll random humor, you can't take a joke, you are too politically correct for your own good, you never want to go out and see the world.
