So, a little about me, huh? Well, let's see. I consider myself a news junkie. I try to educate myself as much as I can about the world in which we all live. I'd like to say I'm way open minded but I do have opinions and I'm not afraid to express them. However, if someone has a valid argument, argument?, that's not the right word. Valid point? Anyway, if a person with a different view than mine can express themselves without getting all aggressive and angry like some do then we can probably have a very enlightening conversation. If you're wondering, I'm pretty liberal. I am not religious in the least but I can appreciate other's feelings on the matter.
So, that's what's inside my head. These things are on the outside.
I recycle almost everything and have a compost bin, don't worry it's outside and doesn't smell like you think it does. I'm a pretty animated talker. I use my hands a lot, in fact, more than once, while telling a story I have had to put whatever I had in my hands down so I could properly finish it.
I work out a lot and try to eat things that are good for me. I run and am thinking of doing a half marathon in the spring but haven't signed up for one yet. I have signed up for the Cap 10k in April though.
However, I absolutely love icing. And wine. And...well you know, the yummy stuff that I never allow myself to eat because it's bad for me. Except for when I do which os more that I should.
I'm so animal friendly that when I find a scorpion in the house I trap it and throw it in the woods across the street. *Update: I was stung for the first time in early October. I put him in prison for 24 hours (until my lips and tongue stopped being numb) and then let him go. Yes, I know, I'm a sucker.
I've got a regular stand in front of a computer for 40 hours a week kind of job. Yeah, I stand up all day. I have a chair but I never use it. I own my own place in south Austin, I've got a great car and a scooter that I never ride. I should probably sell it.
