I am the oldest of four sisters and I think it summarizes me well. Like many first-borns, I am ambitious, responsible, and loyal. After growing up with three sisters, I am good at sharing (especially the bathroom). I have opinions, but I compromise well. I am kind and supportive, but I will tell you the truth. I enjoy being around people, but I also value alone time. I find the science of birth order (and many other things) fascinating.

Cheesy, but I really do try to treat people the way that I want to be treated. I value a good education and personal fitness. I especially enjoy yoga and hiking. I wish I were really funny but my sense of humor is subtler. As one of my students stated, “Miss, I need a drink of water because your sense of humor is so dry.” I walk really fast (if you are a slow-walker, it’s not going to work out).

nerdy: you appreciate knowledge and enjoy intelligent conversation
sturdy: somewhat "stable" and happy with where/who you are in life (physically "sturdy" doesn't hurt either)
