"wisdom begins with wonder"

The devil walks among us...

I stand naked on the precipice, fully exposed, but not in flesh, in soul. The lure that has ensnared my being slowly drags me to the edge. I am completely oblivious to the black abyss unfolding before me and the pits of hell that lay beneath; for he does not corrupt your mind with fears of torturous debauchery that await you upon your arrival - Oh, no... The web he weaves to entangle you is produced upon the poet's divine lips.

I am a person that is just as easily comfortable at a dive bar as
at a Museum. There are just way too many beautiful things in this world to be confined to only exploring a few.
Standing near me, one might overhear an intellectual debate on the origin of our species or a discourse on the most effective hand placement to properly represent Al Bundy on the couch.

I am a fun loving, sometimes-silly, sarcastic (more than a little), serious, bold, shy, sexy, playful, and intelligent woman. A true and loyal person to my friends and family (I’ll tell you if you have a booger in your nose). I am a very open minded person who interacts with a wide range of different types of people, everyone has a beauty of some kind (inside or out). From headbangers and hip-hop junkies to intellectuals, gay to straight. Hatred of someone’s differences is something I can not abide by.

I was born and raised in the east bay (the town). Love almost all outdoor activities for warmer weather (but I am willing to try winter sports if I had the right teacher). As a child we went to the Sierras every summer to a cabin with no phone, no T.V., basically just 4 walls, kitchen, and a bathroom. So we were at the lake or in the woods everyday. Which makes me 75% city and 25% country (NOT AFRAID TO GET DIRTY) Meaning camping and all that other kinds of stuff, I enjoy immensely.

I also have been known to be active in social and environmental change movements.
I keep myself informed in what's going on in my community/ country and the world as a whole.

love to learn about almost anything. I am very inquisitive and like to know the whys and hows of things, especially cosmology, biology, geology, sociology, and anything to do with a paintbrush or sketch pad.

On a side note: I would love to learn how to ride a motorcycle, wink, wink!

"Sooner or later you're going to come to realize that your concept of cool, religion, and or sexuality is a mental construct created by society. It was done either unconsciously and or consciously, which was then accepted by your psyche and in turn unconsciously created walls between yourself and the people around. Seeing them as different/other."

Now what are you going to do about it!?!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.

...Soft kisses
my skin tingles with anticipation, the mere sound of your voice causes moisture between my thighs. never presume my hesitation is from lack of desire- oh no, it is purely self preservation. for if I take that leap of faith I know I will be consumed by your

Devil's Inferno...

... and as my flesh melts off my bones, i kneel before you. you gaze down upon this helpless creature. doe eyed I match your intensity, oblivious of my own skin dripping away. my eyes reflect the deadly flames that devour me. in those last moments your stare penetrate further then ever before, into the inner workings of my being. only then do you truly begin to fathom the depth of my adoration and devotion. now that you stand there helpless of the inevitable, the sweet departure of my soul begins. as it slowly drifts quietly away, only then does my love ever begin to fade out of the now crystal embers that once mirrored your existence.

-me.... bored
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Wouldn't you like to know ; )

at the gym "is she dance walking on the treadmill? "
driving down the street "was that white lady bumpin E40?"
parking lot "shes sweet, helping that little old lady with her groceries" (YES REALLY)
walking down the street coming at you "she has a nice smile, very sincere and full of joy"
walking down the street away from you "great legs"

I don't have cable on purpose because I could care less what the fuck is on the television as a whole. But that's not to say that I won't find a way to watch certain programs that I find intellectually stimulating. With all that better than thaw talk done, I do have an inability to control myself in regards to any TV program related to or about supernatural / Sci fi , specifically related, but not confined to vampires. It's my guilty pleasure. I love both Star Trek and Star Wars equally, yes I know its a cardinal sin, but kiss my left butt cheek. There's a line for the right, I'm trying to expedite the process, so bear with me. I love B rated Sci-fi movies, ok I'm lying, I love all types of B rated movies, from The Blob to Sharknado.
Reading, Anita Blake the vampire executioner at the moment and like 3 other books at the same time. Books and I are hand in hand and it's never going to change. For fun I like to read sci-fi and fantasy, mostly. But I would not hesitate to pick up a book on geology, astronomy, or physics etc. I love food from all over the world.

Lupe Fiasco - Words I Never Said

Nine Inch Nails - Closer
If you do not know what they are really talking about do not even bring up this song.

Rev 22:20 by Puscifer

And yes the order of these three songs means something!

Rage against the machine, Mos def, Jill Scott , Macklemore, Mozart, Curtis Mayfield, Miles Davis, E40, Gnarls Barkley, Sister Nancy, Cee-low, James Brown, The Beatles, The Roots, Fela Kuti, Linkin Park, Otis Redding, Dead Prez, Billie Holiday, Pharcyde, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Cake, Bill Withers, Run DMC, Tim McGraw, Stevie Wonder, White stripes, Pat Benatar, Johnny Cash, Muse, Damian Marley, KRS One, Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Lil Wayne, Pink, Sublime, BOB, EPMD, Duo Los Compadres, Jimi Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac

I love all types of movies, but mostly sci fi, fantasy, thriller/horror, and documentaries.
Ok ok ok... I am 36 and I love to play RPG's on my PS3, there, I've said it, now we can move on, ok... Ok.
Oh and to all you music snobs that say you don't like rap music, I bet you $10 that you've never listened to a "The Roots" album. Just remember 99% of the stuff on the radio is the bullshit of the genre. You and I both know that, so quit taking it as its the representative to the whole genre. (yeah I know that's harsh and I should be more understanding and appreciative of other peoples opinions and their perspectives and understand that everybody's is different blah blah blah, I'm tired of all you guys thinking that you know every goddamn thing... SHEESH
I just made it worse didn't I, oops hahahahaha)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My daughter 2. Her weekends with her father 3. My passport 4. Modes of transportation so I can get to all the places I love 5. The written word 6. Pandora radio.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I’m a philosopher by nature so I contemplate a wide range of
topics but most often the human condition.

How; grateful I am to get to eat food that taste wonderful (most on the planet don't)
Grateful that I get to love the rain (because I can go inside whenever I want)
Grateful that I walk this land with eyes wide [(because most don't and maybe just maybe I can help them see something new, just like I hope you will do the same for me) no, I am not trying to fix anyone, I want to be your partner not your mom]
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Up for just about anything. Seriously though, I'm one of those weird people that actually can find enjoyment even in activities that are not my cup of tea.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My daughters favorite song right now is by the beastie boys, “brass monkey“…….she’s 10.….bad mommy……. no cookie!

The best bumper sticker idea that I have come up with thus far is "Hatred is God's way of telling you you're stupid"

Do you ever feel lost in an Ocean of stupid?

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You understand and have somewhat mastered verbally communicating your wants, feeling, thoughts, and needs. You are true to yourself and others you interact with. You like tomboys that look girly with a dirty sense of humor (yes I understand that there is a time and a place for everything). You like strong, confident women, with a mind of her own AND at the same time she is all sweet, soft, and squishy on the inside (but still with a mouth like a sailor). You enjoy a woman that is independent and self sufficient, but appreciates when you help just the same. A women that can open her own goddamn door, but still enjoys it when you do it anyways. I was really born and raised in New York/Brooklyn, but not really cuz I was born and raised in Oakland, make sense?

I love meeting new people, so you should hit me up if you think that, even just as friends, we could connect and have some fun together or check out a Museum. Ooh and if you ever need someone to go play pool with.

Thanks for reading.
