My self-summary Propose an edit
I'm open minded, loyal, honest, compassionate, affectionate, smart
and enjoy learning. My few adult relationships have been short
lived yet I am looking to change this.
Animals are one of
my greatest joys. I train equine (mostly donkeys and mini horses) at a magic non profit
org. I love talking about astrology, art, music, neurological/SCI complications, & nature.
Yes these crazy astrological guides are important
to me so...
My
favorite signs to date are Scorpio, Leo, Cancer, and Taurus. Libras
or Saggitarians and I can be friends with but nothing
more.
In Chinese Astrology my
most compatible dating signs are Monkeys, Dragons, Rats, and
Snakes, the least are Tigers.
Check out the movies I like or list your own.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
Soon I'll be working on my Literature B.A. at the UC. I hope to be
an English as a Second Language teacher someday. However, I really enjoy
being a student too!
For 10 years now, I have been confined to a wheelchair. I have a
neurological snydrome, Transverse
Myelitis, which can only get better. I am paralyzed from the waist down. I
can still feel.
I have briefly volunteered at The Second Harvest Food Bank, Western
Service Associates, and Cabrillo. I enjoy volunteering and I now
wish to volunteer in the field of teaching.
Not enough really.

"The purpose of our existence is to seek happiness." (page
16)
[However], "our moment to moment happiness is largely determined by
our outlook. In fact, whether we are feeling happy or unhappy at
any given moment often has very little to do with our absolute
conditions but, rather it is a function of how we percieve our
situation, how satisfied we are with what we have.
What shapes our perception and level of satisfaction? Our feelings
of contentment are strongly influenced by our tendency to compare."
(page 22)
"...we don't need more money, we don't need greater success or
fame, we don't need the perfect body or even the perfect mate -
right now, at this very moment, we have a mind, which is all the
basic equipment we need to achieve complete happiness." (page
37)
