My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Mindful, pensive, free thinking, affectionate, anarchistic, fixer of all things. I'm an avid listener and I actually practice empathy.

I appreciate health, personal growth, principled living, risk-taking, as well as dancing, kicking back with beers, and play. My body was molded from cross-country running, soccer, and building.

Due to work, activism, personal growth and my restless baby mamma, my life in 2015 will be moving around alot--from NYC to Cape Cod to Boston to Asheville, NC to Atlanta, to hopefully Mexico and Central America, maybe even Europe in the fall. I'm seeking an intimate partner in crime who wants to explore, is self-motivated, and who enjoys living simply. I have houses/family/friends in some of these places and will be staying with them and you will be invited. Where do you want to go?

In my teens, I was busted for shoplifting, did community service, and then won a humanitarian award. I <3 quotes.

In conversation my favorite topics are personal growth/psychology, relationships and politics/activism.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Many days I am working with my hands, building, fixing or making improvements in my home or someone else's. I'm a self-employed handyperson/maintenance fella. I enjoy a lot of free time to study, be a father, meet new people, and engage in activism--the good life.

Learning spanish, activism/organizing, public speaking, writing.

Recently in Hungary, Germany, Czech, Holland, Poland, and Mexico. Other forms of travel include occasional psychotropic and medicinal plants.

My little daughter is 3 years old, and shes pretty fantastic. Coparenting.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being mindful, giving a shit, understanding complexity and shades of grey, adapting, kissing, relating to dogs and cats, dancing, living simply, fixing stuff, hitchhiking, being resourceful, eating, driving for hours, persistence, not stressing, collecting and sharing music, scrabble, guessing your age, catching food in my mouth,

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Some things I regard highly:
Power tools
Breaking rules
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
culture change and activism strategies, what happens after physical death, Robin Hood type fantasies, industrial collapse/peak oil, what my daughter is newly discovering, how tragic it is when friends and loved ones fight each other, fukushima radiation, why women choose asshole guys, aliens, psychic skills, what the universe is trying to tell me, why people aren't more humble,
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Stargazing and catching up on a several years of movies that I've missed. Or hanging out with my daughter. Ideally I would be going to a house party or a potluck. Other nights of the week are perfectly open for me too since I am not a 9to5er.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like being close to danger without getting hurt. I like to tell my friends, "Take risks and be safe please!"

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Just do it. If you are particularly excited about traveling/exploring North America, activism/organizing, building (or learning how to), please please please reach out! Short term dating can be pretty cool too, if you are one of those people who enjoys meeting interesting new folks. I think ice skating and ping pong make for super fun dates.
