My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a down to earth guy who can be quite and reserved or a complete smart ass. I'm polite and mannered, though not a wallflower. I'm open and approachable but still able to maintain a sense of mystery (so I'm told). I can debate you on politics (I tend to compromise in the end) or tickle you until you cry with laughter. I like making people laugh, and or think, and I'm a sucker for an evil grin. It won't bother me if your a Christian, but if it will bother you that I'm not then I'd rather you looked elsewhere.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In a difficult marriage with someone who makes me feel like I'm the only adult, most of the time, if that makes sense, and who can be extremely selfish. I sometimes feel lost and alone, I need like minded souls to talk to.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing things I've never seen before. Remembering a lot of useless information. Knowing when to shut up. Awkward silences. Remembering the name of that one movie, with that guy in it. Moving with cat-like stealth. Geography.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes. Or my fangs. No, forget I mentioned fangs.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I enjoy reading just about anything, but I have a special affinity for works by William Gibson or Phillip K. Dick. Robert Anton Wilson and Terence McKenna make for an interesting read. Some sci-fi, history, mystery, bios, books on theoretical physics, 1984, and Shakespeare. Unless it was written by that hack James Patterson, I'll probably read it.

I like movies that engage your mind, some horror movies, and sci-fi like BladeRunner, and Primer. I'm a big Wes Anderson fan, I love Rushmore and The Fantastic Mr. Fox. I also like comedies like The Big Lebowski, ensemble movies, light-hearted 80's movies, and weird quirky films.

I don't watch much TV, but I like Top Gear UK (not the shitty american version), Peep Show, Red Dwarf, most Britcoms, Mr. Show reruns, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Tosh.0 is a guilty pleasure. No matter what anyone says, Dr. Who ended with Tom Baker... restarted with David Tennant... and then ended again. I will brook no argument.

I like electronica, industrial, darkwave, EBM, Classic Rock. Seabound, Coil, Assemblage 23, Diary of Dreams, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, VAC, Siouxsie, The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division, Ben Howard, Pink turns Blue and many other things you've never heard of, but I can chill with jazz, Johnny Cash, or the Clash, I listen to just about anything, but country not so much.

I enjoy most foods, but I really love Indian, Thai, and Japanese foods, anything with some spice.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Sarcasm and Wit
A thirst for knowledge
A warped sense of humor
Very dark nights

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Control. How technology is isolating us from one another and changing how we behave. Pattern Recognition. The nature of reality. The Planck Time. If I'll be in LA in November of 2019. Why I don't have a flying car. The Infinite Improbability Drive. Why I still haven't learned to play the guitar. If reality is really whatever you can get away with. The Dark Side of the Moon. The Despair Squid. The Afterfire. If you'll pick me up at the airport.

What it will be like the first time we ...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Any, all, or none of the following, In no particular order. Reading, sometimes between the lines. Trying to find a hockey game on the tube. Cooking. Being mysterious. Enjoying the darkness. Having a drink. Just getting warmed up. Storming the battlements. Working on my scheme for world domination. In a Partial Catatonic State.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm English, it's the "no accent" that hides my secret. I'm a closet Goth / Steampunk, I growl at people I don't like. As long as it doesn't involve mayonnaise, I'll most likely do whatever the fuck you suggest we do.
