My family and I found ourselves in Tijuana, Mexico during a trip to California. On our way back to California, a corrupt Mexican cop pulled us over and told us we better give him 500 pesos or he would send us to jail. As the corrupt cop was waiting for backup, I asked my parents, "would we have a private cell?"

Luckily, the backup never came and we didn't get sent to a Mexican prison cell.
