My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My life has been full of setbacks and bad decisions that I've had to bounce back from. I moved out of my parents' house when I was 18, and didn't know a thing about the ways of the world. I learned, slowly, and the one thing that's been constant has been the love and support of my life-long friends. When I dropped out of high school, they were there. When I went back and got a diploma (long, weird story there!), they were there. Every time I've been dumped, lost a job, everything, they are always the ones to help me back up and remind me that I can never give up.

I have a lot of appreciation for them, and for anyone who does anything for me. Even if you just open a door, you can expect a heart-felt "thank you". My life would be nowhere if it weren't for the good hearts and charity of my friends, parents, my friends' parents, and other people along the way who gave me a ride, a place to stay, whatever.

My life is back on track after a while of, after graduating college for the first time, me not being able to find a good job. I worked for a bunch of places that just didn't have any work to do so they'd let me go. I wished I would have just kept on cutting grass! Then my car broke down and I had to ride a bicycle everywhere for a while. That sucked.

I lived in Tigerland, didn't get to see my friends a whole lot, had a HORRIBLE roommate, and hardly got to eat healthily because there aren't that many grocery stores in the area.

Now that I'm back in school, not living in Tigerland, back cutting grass on the one day I don't have classes, and bought the motorcycle, I feel much better than I did then and I am really working hard to make good grades, and for the first time, I am making good grades!

Now, to find a nice girl to share it all with... I fear that may be the hardest part. I want someone who knows what they want and someone who can appreciate me as much as I can appreciate them. If you're a loving, caring girl, I can appreciate you for that and love you back and care for you. If not, I'm just not interested.

Physically, I like girls who dress cute, and like to look pretty. The first thing I'll notice is your hair, your eyes and your smile. I'm sure they'll be great!

Personality wise, I like girls who are quiet and thoughtful. I don't like the girl who is the first person to talk in a situation and say the first thing to come to her mind. I like a girl who, when she speaks, everyone listens because they know it's going to be good.

I like a good listener, and someone who can hold a great conversation with me. I can't stand feeling like I'm talking to someone who is waiting for me to finish just to say something and isn't even hearing me. I do like just sitting in silence, it's not like we have to talk all the time, but when we are, please be receptive! I guess I like a girl who doesn't talk all the time because I tend to talk all the time.

In the same vein, I hope you have a great sense of humor! I am a jokester and my friends are too, and I can't see you getting along with me for too long if we don't laugh at the same things.

Please also be patient. If you're impatient or are quick to get mad, don't even bother, I'll certainly make you mad at least sometimes and if you don't like to work things out rather than just blow up or break up or whatever, it certainly won't work. I'm a talker and a problem solver. I think it works better that way.

It would help if you either didn't care about music or liked the same music as me. I am pretty passionate about music.

Geez, that was pretty long-winded... Story of my life...;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am going to Our Lady of the Lake for a Bachelor's in Nursing, then after that I might try to get my Master's, depending on how hard it is at that point to find a job. I wouldn't mind studying to be a nurse practitioner after all the studying I'm already going to have to!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Rhythm-based music games, like DDR or Guitar Hero or whatever, Call of Duty, sitting and eating, cutting lawns and landscaping, kissing.
The first things people usually notice about me

Music: My three favorite bands are 311, Between the Buried and Me, and Steely Dan. None of them really fit into one genre and I think that's why I like them so much. Other than that I like:

Rap (Outkast, Wale, Hot Boys, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, The Cool Kids, Project Pat, Three 6 Mafia, etc.)

Hardcore/Metal (Between the Buried and Me, Vanna, The Damned Things, Protest the Hero, Cynic, Mastodon, etc.)

Punk/Ska (blink-182, Mustard Plug, Less Than Jake, NOFX, Lagwagon, Bad Religion, No Doubt, Sublime, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, etc.)

Country (Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, etc.) I don't like sad country music.:)

Oldies (Steely Dan, Boston, Fleetwood Mac, Beatles, Bee Gees, Rush, etc.)

When I'm alone I just listen to whatever I feel like listening to, but when I'm with friends, I think it's good to like a lot of different types of music so you can enjoy hanging out with any crowd!

Bands I don't like: Anything that sounds like Enya or Celine Dion, anything that sounds like Three Days Grace or Sick Puppies, and anything that sounds like Pink.

As for movies and TV, I don't watch much... I guess I like funny movies and funny shows. Some of my favorite movies are Anchorman, Stepbrothers and Knocked Up, if that gives you any idea. As for TV, I like Sopranos, Entourage, Big Love, all those HBO shows, and Two and a Half Men, The League and Arrested Development.

I really just don't like reality TV or shows like American Idol or Survivor.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, my best friends, Chewy Sprees, Taco Bell, and two other things...?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Anatomy and Physiology...:(
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm either out with my friends somewhere, usually dancing (though I am very bad at it), or I'm at my house with those same friends playing beer pong or just sitting around a fire if it's winter and talking.
