I am a Midwestern girl living in DC for the past 4 years and loving every minute. I try to live my life with an open mind and heart which means that I will usually say yes just to try something once. If I had a choice I would prefer to be outdoors and enjoy doing things that keep me moving (hiking, biking, tennis just to name a few). I will never shy away from a discussion and am fully able to admit when I am wrong (of course that will be debatable). I love to travel and my experiences and the people I've met have made me who I am. One of my passions is international medicine; I can't even begin to describe how it makes me feel to be appreciated by someone who just wants me to tell them that their family is healthy and well. I hope to go to Haiti in the spring to help the medical relief work that has been going on since the earthquake. My family and friends are my life and I will do anything for them. People say I am funny, but don't have too high of expectations. I am a down to earth kind of girl who tells it like it is and expects the same in return. If you want to know more just ask!

I am looking for a best friend. Where we can both laugh at each other one minute and cuddle the next. I want someone who loves to be social, but can also be content with a quiet night at home from time to time. I want someone who is independent and has their own interests that he can share with me. I want someone who has been bitten by the same travel bug that I have and I always trying to evolve and be a better person.

After all my training and schooling, I'm finally at a place in my life where I have the ability to do whatever I want to do. When I'm not working in the ER, I tutor DC public school kids and I just got back from Haiti which was an eye opening experience. I now also have time to do things other than medicine: museums, outdoor activities, concerts, and sometimes doing nothing is great too!
