About me... I am very outgoing and love to keep busy. My friends would describe me as always smiling and fun loving. I love anything having to do with the outdoors, especially if it is on or near the water. Recently, I fill my free time with sailing and volunteering as an EMT at the local fire department. I consider myself a country girl who likes to live near a big city. I enjoy space but being close to technology and nightlife. I like spending time with my special someone at home or out on the town. I am usually up for anything from watching movies to catching a lecture on a good topic. If I had more money, I would love to travel. I sometimes wish that after college I would have taken some time to tour the world but I opted for work instead. I still want to travel and see the wonders of the world.

I graduated from the University of MD, wow, way to long ago and I moved to Frederick, MD for work. I currently work in retail management. I enjoy what I do because it allows me to work with people. Sometimes it can be stressful but I enjoy it. I don't love and I don't hate it but it pays the bills. The thing I hate the most is my schedule. Hopefully, that will all change soon and I will get something with a more reliable schedule. When I do have time I like to do projects around my house. I love planning new things and getting them started. It is the final touches I am not so good at. I get to the almost finsihed stage and then I am never motivated to finish it. Thus, I made a list and my new project is to finsih all my old projects. Other than that, I try to spend as much time possible at the fire house. I volunteer as an EMT but I really don't get to spend as much time there as I would like. I enjoy the helping others part but not the sitting around doing nothing waiting for a call part. Especially since I live accross the street from the fire house and I can look at my house and think about my new project of projects.

I am really good at making people feel comfortable. You can always be yourself around me without worrying about being judged.

People usually notice that I have lots of energy and that I love having fun. At work, complete strangers will come up to me and ask if I ever stop smiling. I usually have some sort of song in my head and I am not afraid to step out of the box.

I listen to all types of music. I generally listen to country but you can find all types of stations on my car stereo.
I tend to have my favorite tv shows. I record them at watch them while surfing the internet or doing my various projects. I love dramas, crime or otherwise like any of the CSI's, Without a Trace or House. Ok, I watch some reality like America's Next Top Model (I fast forward through most of the drama and I like watching the photo shots) but only leave others in the background while doing something else.
I love surrounding myself with books. I may not finish them all but I start a lot. It takes a lot to keep my attention. I enjoy personal stories, true life, and crime dramas.

It might sound sad but I spend a lot of time thinking about where I am. I am thirty and I can't stop wondering if I should be more or have more. I pictured myself thinner, married, and more well off. I would love to be more and I am working toward becoming a better me. I am striving to find someone who is motivated on so many levels. Someone who is also striving to be a better them.

Probably working. If not, I am trying to drag one of my few single friends out, anywhere.

Seriously, I like good hearted people who are total smartasses...
