Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
For starters, my name is Carl and I wouldn't consider myself a Jack
of all trades, but definitely a Jack of all interests. My dad and
brothers have pointed out my interest to know a little bit about
everything to be able to BS my way through just about anything. My
current main focus is in the field of aviation. I've always wanted
a job dealing with helicopters. It's been a bit of a pain to
accomplish this but I'm pretty determined. Some day I even hope to
have my own hot air balloon, but that has sounded to be an even
more difficult adventure.
I believe in and try to practice the ideology of Radical Honesty.
I'd recomend familiarizing yourself with the character Loker from
the show Lie to Me to get an idea of what that is. But unlike him,
I put a filter on it to be sensitive to people feelings and
I've lived in the DMV for several years, but I've never considered
it a place that I would like to call home. I'd much rather live
somewhere further north seeing as how I've always prefered colder
climates and seasons. Plus it makes the cat a tiny bit more willing
to curl up with me while watching a movie or reading.
I am a hobbyist and recreational gamer. A few of my friends have
gone the competitive route, but it just never has been that way for
me. I make and sell painted miniatures that people use for table
top gaming. Usually for this one sepcific game, but I enjoy the
artistry of the hobby more than the game itself.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'd say self discovering, but that's not entirely true. Sure, I
haven't found my niche yet. But at the same time, I'm not exactly
out there turning over rocks or scaling walls to find it. Mostly do
to lack of proper motivation. Being stuck in a dead end job tends
to drain all life from you to the point where you're tired of
finding something new before you even begin.
But, I'll break through that runners wall even if I have to fake
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Artsy stuff that doesn't include drawing. I can't draw worth my
weight in mud... I'm pretty in tune with photography. Especially
when using actual film. For some reason I just don't do as well yet
with digital as I do with film. Even have my own dark room gear.
But, I haven't touched it in ages.
I'm totally into black light art. Anything that glows is super in
my book. I use stuff that you can't see in regular light, so it's
always great to paint myself up, and then go play laser tag and pop
out of no where all glowy.
Legos are still the cats meow.
I do some wood working. Hoping to begin doing some metal crafting
soon. Just hobby stuff. But, I take requests sometimes for cash.
There have been a few times where I've done other peoples art for
The first things people usually notice about me

My bellowing laugh. My voice tends to carry, and my laugh even more
so. I'd say it's a twist of evil villain laugher with Christopher
Lee. Who ironically often plays villains. Then probably my height
and Fabio like long blonde hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I have no interest in making lists like most people on here.
Yep, I like music. I usually have a form of ambient rave or trance
going in the background. Or if I'm in a particularly good mood I'll
have the volume up on what I call biker metal or speed metal. My
cars radio hasn't worked since I got it years ago, and have never
really liked listening to radios to begin with. But I can tolerate
anything except whiny country, overly explicit rap, or smooth and
I usually watch movies over tv shows. I can't stand commercials
interrupting the flow of the show, and I cannot schedule my life
well enough to sit down and watch something at their scheduled
I do eat food. Surprise, surprise. Aside for a few food allergies
I'm game for any dish as close to vegan as possible.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1 - My Glasses. I'd look so bad with contacts.
2 - A cat. Especially either of my current two.
3 - Orange soda floats. They're just absolutely amazing.
4 - A pen. I'm always forgetting things, got to write it
5 - Rain. I love rainy weather. Especially if it's like, sunny
rain, or rain that's quickly evaporating and creating a lot of fog
6 - Any of my artsy stuff.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Things that I would love to build or modify. I've always wanted to
run model railroad tracks through the walls of a house. And how bad
I am with Photoshop, it's hard for me to master it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually at home making or cleaning up a mess. Most of my friends
are at work till late at night on Fridays. The middle of the week
is usually my weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I want to be a voice actor. Cartoons, comercials, narrations. You
name it, I want to voice act it. Which is totally out of character
for me. I usually never verbally say a thing. I can go days without
uttering a word.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're okay with receiving a nickname. Or if I haven't dropped you
a line yet and you're assertive enough to make the first move. Not
every guy can dig that, but I do. And if you're alright with cats.
I'm not getting rid of mine and he is rather rowdy.
