I'm going to tell you some things that you may not hear very often...

I am a nerd.

Yes, I am a bit odd, but I've been told that I can be quite intriguing.

My favorite hobby is learning.

Like I said, GEEK. seriously.

I spend god knows how many hours in front of a monitor then if not behind the pages of a comic book.

And I play video games. Probably better than you.

Spending all the time I can with my son. Kids grow up so fast. Other than that I'm hoping to get back into the workforce soon. As much as I would love to stay home all day with the munchkin until he can't stand me anymore, moneys gotta be made.

being creative ...

not acting my age...

thinking of great ideas...

finding the good side to everything...

vegging out...

long interesting conversations about everything and nothing...

laughing at inappropriate times...

creating awkward situations for myself...

not freaking out - (I know it sounds random and general, but its true and extremely valuable)

Books: Anything by Neil Gaiman, Chuck Palahniuk. or Franchesca Lia Block. Any and all graphic novels. I love non-fiction; how-to, self-help, do-it-yourself. Fiction is good too, but it has to be a little twisted to keep my attention.

Movies: Anything by Quentin Tarantino. My 2nd favorite film genre is horror, wanna know the 1st? Ask me. My all time favorite movie is Grindhouse, I love cheesy, over the top gore, and a witty script. Some old favorites: rocky horror, the princess bride, office space, my stepmother is an alien, the california raisins...

Music: Ska, punk, rock, hip hop, r&b, reggae, even some pop. Floater is my favorite band but I also like Sublime, 311, Kingspade, Kottonmouth Kings, No Doubt, HedPE, Buckcherry, Skindred..... I like garage bands and enjoy the gigs booked at divey, little hole in the wall bars (love love love the ghost engine: www.myspace.com/theghostengine1 ), sometimes I can really be in the mood for J-pop, (check out fujiko chan) or nerdcore (look at mc chris) and I love all the artists I listened to growing up; prince, new kids on the block, Paula Abdul, Micheal Jackson, Janet Jackson, George Michael, usher, bone thugs n harmony, TLC, salt n Peppa, Missy Elliot, Madonna.... this list could go on for days...

Food: I am probably the pickiest eater ever! I hate tomatoes, or anything tomato-like (ie: ketchup, spaghetti sauce, tomato soup, pizza sauce... you get the picture.) I don't like strawberries, but I love strawberry flavored things. I don't like pickles, but I like pickle juice. I love red onions, hate white or yellow onions though. I love chocolate, any kind - no exceptions there. Here is the real kicker, my favorite food? Canned green beans. (not fresh - yuck)
