I am a happy relaxed woman, most of the time. I live in Brighton and am satisfied on the material side with what I have achieved. I believe we are all responsible for our own happiness. I am far more interested in people than things and am curious and imaginative in attitude and open to new experiences.

I am a INFP personality type (this isnt a fixed way of being, BTW, for those not into psychology) but it is an indicator that I am a intuitive, feeling perceptive type and that I can also be introverted sometimes. (my friends say I am extraverted, so obvious room for both there). I like to live in the present as much as possible and enjoy and appreciate the simple things - like walking through a wood, or collecting stones on the beach but I also love a bit of dressing up and going out. I could go on on and I 'm not sure how insightful this is about me, but if you see something that resonates with you, do get in touch.

I'm now studying again - in my third year - and retraining to become an integrative psychotherpist/ counsellor. I am interested in special needs as my son has a diagnosis and would like to work with this group eventually. I love me, life and treat each day as precious.

Listening to people, and laughing. Seeing the wider picture and being impatient with detail (I'm becoming more patient but still find it a challenge). I'm good at making plans and then not keeping them, dreaming impossible dreams, believing in miracles, staying happy and being strong and vulnerable when I need to be.

I am told I have a nice smile and a warmth about me,but you will have to make your own mind up about that.

'Tree of Life' was the most recent movie - loved it, also loved 'The Separation' an Iranian subtitled one and 'Senna' was great, also Mama Mia. I loved the book called 'The Alchemist',' A hundred Days of Solitude' and so many many more. I love world music, classical and todayI am listening to Willie Nelson and Elvis Costello. For the past two years I havent read any novels - all academic and personal development stuff. At the moment I'm addicted to Erkhart Tolle on You Tube - and listen to him every morning. I love Rhonda Byrne, 'The Secret' and Law of Attraction.

27th January - Saw 'The Artist' last week and laughed so much the people in front gave me stinking looks and I also cried, a delightful movie , sweet as cherry pie.

Food: I love fresh live food, love south east asian sea food, tofu, miso, , authentic mexican, middle eastern, anything really if the indrediants are fresh. I try to grow my own veg but recently its been mainly simple things like rocket, apple trees and some berries.

Hugs, toothbrush, my son, the radio, my dog, music, fresh countryside, books, ...........

Essays! and reflecting and wondering and procastinating and trying to give meaning to experiences !

maybe going out to see friends or talking to my son if he is available.

Not sure I want to answer that right now and feel I have already revealed quite a lot about myself but.... oh well... I admit I cry watching 'The Secret Milionaire' on TV .

You are a funny kind intelligent man who is integral and passionate about life. I don't think we will get on if you are right wing or conservative. Hopefully you have an open mind and flexible in attitudes. Being affectionate and enjoying just being in the present is really something I value too.

I'm not interested in drawn out email/cyber communications - I'm too busy for that and besides I wont really know if I like you or not until we actually meet.
