How have you been lately?

Longtime no see:)

Well, I've been in a rewarding relationship with a wonderful guy for...for 5 months now (the longest I've had in the UK)- will be reaching half a year before I need to move out (new reason for stress and anxiety)- and our relationship has reached that point of 'where is it going'?-but, to my surprise, thanks to ourselves and God's protection it's all going very well.

Now, I would like to hear from your experience, what can maintain a sane romantic relationship. I, myself, am not very experienced...so, over to you.:)

I'm trying to promote private tuition for English, French all levels and Spanish (up to GCSE) , including using Skype for you busy buddies!:) I used to be with a tuition agency, but they rid me after 2 years of loyal service. They wanted me to pay them commission without doing any work for them, as I was abroad with my right wrist broken. Anyway, I've started off independently and, although I have great results at GCSE (A and A* French speaking) and 'A' Levels, am well referred by both students and parents and am CRB checked, I'm still not trusted enough, perhaps because I work independently
Therefore I'm thinking of putting an offer  of 20% off the next tuition session/translation for any new student/customer introduced. It will be beneficial for both parties, as students love working together with me and we both have fun using entertaining resources. Yes, you guessed it...I'm not a traditional teacher/tutor...:)I also provide online translation and interpreting for Romanian (native-I am a sworn translator-interpreter with the Romanian Embassy), English and French.

PS Need ideas for better promotion. Thanks for your time and patience. :)

Hi,

I've been having trouble with QTS skills numeracy test. There's nothing wrong with my maths on paper, but the wording and the time constraint are huge drawbacks.

Therefore, I am willing to teach French on skype in exchange for numeracy. I've got plenty of material for both. I only need to fine the fastest methods possible and interpret the wording right.

Any suggestions are most welcome. Thanks.

I'm a bit confused, so I need both men and women's opinion on this.

First date: who initiates it, who 'directs' things, who should pay for it/the main part.

If it was by me, I'd prefer a flower, a walk in the park. with icecream...But nowadays, it's about pubs, coffee shops or even restaurants...

Colombianamente 2010

Colombianamete 2010 Colombian Independence Day Festival

Colombianamente is back for its 3rd outing and has quickly established itself as the Colombian Independence Day celebration of choice withi the UK. After a very successful 2nd outing in 2009 as part of the Coin Street Festival, where over 40,000 people celebrated Colombia’s rich cultural, historic and artistic heritage.

Colombianamente’s primary aim is to showcase the best of Colombian arts and culture in London.

This festival, brings together the different Colombian communities living within London, explores Colombian contemporary identity and introduces a positive view of Colombia to the world. The 3rd edition of Colombianamente which in 2010 holds a little more significance as it’s the 200 year of Independence from Spain, will allow Londoners to explore the rich, vibrant and variety of Colombian culture and help to get rid of negative stereotypes that we hear about Colombia.
