Family, friends and laughter, oh and work, are probably the most important things to me. I find talking about myself quite difficult, as my friends seem to have a completely different view of me, however, I am kind hearted, loving, thoughtful and generous (they agree with those things). I think I am quiet, they do not, so I would say that I tend to hang back a little shy until I get to know you, then you might need to gag me!
I like the simple things in life, would rather have a picnic in the park than an expensive night in a restaurant.
Travelled extensively until I got a mortgage, but still get itchy feet every now and then. Love spontaneity and surprises.

Currently teaching in a primary school, attempting to educate the nation, but finding they are generally educating me! Each year I make the new year resolution to get a better work/life balance, and this year I am determined to do it...so far so good.

Making people feel comfortable and at ease, listening to others and generally having a laugh.

This is a wide range!! Sometimes easier to say what I don't like...don't really like old black and white movies. Otherwise the choice is varied. I am a typical romantic and have a good cry in a tear jerker, am a child at heart and so enjoy fantasy and Walt Disney movies, but equally so for Sci-fi! Loved Star Wars, not so keen on Star Trek!
Love the theatre, particularly musicals, again a range from the classics to the wacky.
Music...well you name it I probably have enjoyed it somewhere along the way, but not very good at remembering names of songs/groups etc! My most frequented radio stations are absolute radio (rock on!) and classical.
Food, again it might be easier to say what I don't like...caviar! Sticks to the teeth and is 'orrible. I always try something at least once, yes, I'm still talking about food! Check out my tests to find out the rest!

1. My 2 cats - they do tie me down a bit, but wouldn't be without them!
2. Friends - I have a select few, that are the best! They know me so well and yet still love me!
3. Lip balm - thought carefully about this many a time, left on the desert island etc, and I would happily be burnt to a crisp, but very unhappy if I didn't have soft, smooth lips!
4. Music - no matter what mood you are in, music has the cure!
5. Outdoor spaces - sometimes they can be the answer to so many things.
6. Mmm, a hard one as it's my final choice, perhaps I'll leave it open so it can change my mind at will! Tossing up between a king size bed, or a lovely soak in a hot bath at the mo.

Blokes, you are not the only ones who think of it!

However, I ponder over many little arbitrary things throughout the day. I love discovering interesting facts that you are likely never to use again, but you can mull over them in your own space and time.

It really does vary, as much of me seems to! However, this could be the answer to the next question...when work is hectic, to be curled up on the sofa with my fluffy slippers and a good DVD!

I will have plenty to admit when I get to know you, then we can have a real laugh over it all.
