Fix-it guy needed

This morning I could have really used a fix-it guy,  I dragged the area rug from the living room outside to my driveway so I could clean it with my pressure washer and then start the drying process with my new shop vac.  I have had the pressure washer for over a year but never used it myself.  My son-in-law had put it together and washed down my eaves as a Christmas gift.  It took me an inordinate amount of time to figure out where/how to connect the water hose, start it, and actually get the pressure wand and tips to work like I thought they were supposed to.  Good ol' persistence prevailed even though I was pretty frustrated.  The rug looks much better now and I also managed to assemble my new wet/dry shop vac and suck most of the water out of the rug.  I really to try to follow instructions but sometimes they just don't seem to be user friendly, they just don't make sense.  I consider myself a smart woman, after all I managed to have a successful career, put 2 kids through college, and have a nice home, so why can't I deal with these little mechanical things without having to get so frustrated.  And where or where is a guy when I need him????

An image of CalleighDuquesne It's another one. My Craigs List dude got arrested. Some bodies were found, it seems. So now it's a whole hassle, visiting him in Rikers, bringing weed and smokes...
