Not much to say really. I tend to enjoy wandering through the random tests some of these dating sites have, so I figured I might just put some of them to somewhat good use. I decided to add a bit more to this quick bio so my really random test results don't seem quite as random, so I guess that's good. Right?

I am Observant, Calm, and Witty

I've decided that I want to be Indiana Jones. With a slightly worse work ethic, and preferably slightly less people dying around me. That part could be a bummer. And, preferably, without the grave-robber modifier so many people seem to add these days. Failing that, I'd like to teach history, preferably at a collegiate level, or work in a decent sized museum. Or I could go the professional student route. There's ample opportunity, I guess. 'Course the pay sucks, but hey the hours are flexible.

Talking when I'm comfortable, choosing restaurants, and I'm not horrible at choosing movies, discussing really odd subjects, Listening apparently since I seem to do so a lot.

As far too many women over the age of 80 have told me of late, I apparently have a 'very sexy voice'. I tend to come away simply pleased they could hear me and I didn't have to raise my voice, but hey I suppose it's worth putting here right.

Books: Cryptonomicon, The Baroque Cycle, Stardust, The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, Transmetropolitan, Fables; Movies: Amelie, 300, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Serenity, Kevin Smith (even Jersey Girl), π (that's Pi, if okcupid continues to discriminate against odd signs and symbols); Music: Carbon Leaf, I started listening to Tegan & Sara on the recommendation of a friend, O.A.R., Reel Big Fish, Blues Traveler, Smashing Pumpkins, Johnny Cash is always good, a girl at work today asked me who was playing on the radio and when I responded 'The Grateful Dead', she asked me who the hell that was, and I was perturbed, any number of groups/people who catch my ear ; Foods: Thai's always good, and I'm generally open to an amazing amount of various foods

Sleep; My pair of cats, despite their apparent belief they're invincible agents of chaos; Food seems kinda obvious, but it fits; Change (loose and general); Amusement; Something that needs to be done, doesn't matter what, just some of sort of goal

Usually going to bed early and being unsociable because I work early Saturday. Some people just don't get this.

I really enjoyed the hell out of the boy-band explosion some years back.
