My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I’m a sweet lady looking for a good guy. Originally from Miami, went to college in Pittsburgh, then moved to New York. After 12 years of being a New Yorker, it’s hard to imagine myself anywhere else. I love keeping active and eating right but also enjoy giving into laziness and gluttony.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My main focus right now is getting into medical school. I’ve been tirelessly pursuing this dream for the past couple of years- taking tons of science prerequisites, volunteering, working in a research lab studying mitochondria and preparing for the MCAT (currently, the bane of my existence). This career change is a 180 from what I was doing before, set designing for theater. Luckily this work is freelance and I’m using my theater career to finance my future medical career. How many people can say that?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Building models. My specialty within set design is building miniature sets.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I’m very approachable. I can’t tell you how many tourists ask me for directions. For the most part, I do my best to send them in the right direction.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
It’s hard to pick favorites but here are some:

books: Cutting for Stone, In Cold Blood, Me Talk Pretty One Day, The Dueling Neuroscientists, Pride and Prejudice
movies: Tarantino, Raising Arizona, Spaceballs, The Three Amigos, Singing in the Rain
shows: Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black, Breaking Bad, The Daily Show, Extreme Weight Loss (not sure how to explain this one)
food: pizza, hands down.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
fluffy pillow, my toothbrush, comfy pair of shoes, sunscreen, water
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What’s right in front of me or how to move myself closer to my goals
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either vegging out after a long week or catching up with friends over dinner and drinks
