I am a very energetic and passionate person who loves to laugh. I love to have friends over for dinner and host little parties for every and any occasion because I love to cook.

I come from a big Jewish family, and I love meeting them for events, birthdays, soccer games, school plays etc, whatever they're into. I also like to sit home and relax in front of the TV or read a great book.

I am currently working on my Masters/ PhD in Biomedical Engineering which is just a complicated way of saying I do 'Stem Cell Research,' or even more obvious, I'm a science geek, which I fully embrace.

In my spare time I try not to think about work, and just have a good time with my friends and family... I am currently training for a half-marathon, so I go to the gym regularly, but I hate running, so try to figure that one out...

I have two cats but I love dogs (I just don't have the time to commit to a dog), and I love all kinds of animals.

I used to spend a lot of my time volunteering, but don't have quite as much time for it now as I would like, but hopefully I'll do more of that in the future. I get a lot out of helping other people.

Cooking... and other things, but I just can't think of them right now...

Well, obviously the first thing people notice is appearance... blond hair, blue eyes etc... but in terms of personality, I think people usually notice my enthusiasm for life...

I love to read, just about anything a close recommends... usually more fiction than non-fiction... adventure, mystery, fantasy, the classics, I really enjoy books that are in a series, so the author has really given time to develop the characters and their back stories... like Philip Pullman's Dark Material series or Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth Books, and the ever popular series like Harry Potter or Twilight... I love Dan Brown's books, and just about everything I've ever read off the New York Times Best Seller's Lists...

My taste in movies is the same, or rather it varies depending on my mood and who I'm watching with... I love comedies, action movies, dramas, but occasionally I do indulge in a classic chick-flick... guilty! :) I am a James Bond fanatic! I appreciate the Office Space and Wedding Crashers type humor... I like really good sports movies, and action movies... I can appreciate a movie with a good musical score like Atonement or something that makes you think... I love good screen adaptations of great books like Fight Club or just about anything Pixar...

Music, I love music... Classic rock is probably my favorite, but I also appreciate classical music and modern pop... Not a big fan of country or rap, but there are a few exceptions...

I love Food! I love to cook, and I love to eat. Oddly enough I am a rather picky eater, but that doesn't stop me from finding something to eat just about everywhere...

I would really like to find someone who can make me laugh. Not necessarily someone who is really funny, but rather someone who I can be relaxed with and just have a good time around. I am much more impressed by someone who can have an intelligent conversation with me, than by someone who relies on flirting or bad pick-up lines...
