My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'd like to think I'm unsummarizable and ever evolving but can provide some key highlights. I’m from the Midwest and I’m pretty sure you can tell. Being the only person in my family besides a rogue uncle to ever have left the great state of Michigan I have to maintain a high level of Detroit pride so as not to be excommunicated.
I'll give most people, places and activities a chance including such things as eating, drinking, live music, running, traveling, and general social merriment. I'm usually trying some new hobby, joining a league of something, or planning a group activity, party, trip to somewhere. I'd like to spend less time on a computer and more time creating things, but it's not often I actually achieve that. I'll bond with your dog and will accept being second to them, if you always feed me first. I take it really personally if people aren't having enough fun. I'm often sarcastic and have a hard time with people who can't laugh at themselves. Because then it's just me laughing at you, and that gets super awkward. I can get down with silly stupid or serious thinking or silly stupid serious thinking.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Much fun, some purpose, just enough work to sustain the fun.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Shopping online. I’m hoping it’s a transferable skill to shop for men online.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Who does this girl think she is?

Always searching for something new, putzing around on spotify at work. I listen to lots of different stuff, hopefully this list of examples will inspire an 'I like that too!' moment for you: Tool, Jeff Buckley, the Cure, Woodkid, White Buffalo, Andrew Bird, in my pjs listening to The Civil Wars at this very moment even.
I start many books and finish few. But I get giddy going to the library. I always try to read classics but end up googling the cliff notes because I'm worried I'm gonna miss some major element of symbolism or something.
I like quirky humor. I grew up on MST3K, Monty Python, Kids in the Hall... I like period shows like Mad Men, Downton, Boardwalk Empire, home videos of your childhood.
Food is so great! I miss the Middle Eastern food in Detroit. I'll always say yes to nachos, vodka, and shortribs. Usually it happens in the reverse progression with brunch the next day. I never think to order pancakes but when they are presented to me I end up real happy, full and sleepy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
all the people I love, new challenges, subsequent failures, other peoples dogs, awkward situations and my sense of humor.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Clever interesting things
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
where I am needed most
