TMI? Nah. I had to add that because I've seen other guys my height and weight that have problems walking up their front porch. LOL
What I’m doing with my life
I don't work out, jog, or go to any gyms. BORING! Instead, I save my calories in the pursuit of more tasty food. Lately, I've been spending my weekend evenings rowing a REAL boat in the open ocean from dusk until dawn or until I limit out on lobsters. What idiot thought rowing a fake boat for a few minutes on the floor of a warehouse full of strangers was a good idea?
In the Spring I walk up and down mountains again during wild turkey season. This Thanksgiving was the first time eating store bought turkey this century.
Besides trout fishing above 7,000' (best tasting trout) that's about it until summer.
Deer season starts in July. Yes, more mountains and the success rate of bowhunters is far lower than rifle hunters but rifle hunters don't need to be able to track and understand the language of the forest.
I tried rifle hunting for antelope once. The whole hunt lasted an hour. BORING!
I’m really good at
Eating tasty foods. My philosophy is, I won't be the first to eat it but I'll be the second one. That's a great philosophy for mushroom hunting! My hunting buddy lives in Northern Cal. where we've just discovered edible varieties. We were hauling Matsutakes (that go for up to $2,000/lb.) out of the forest 30 lbs. at a time.
I eat only California Spiny Lobsters, not the generic East Coast bugs and my favorite fowl by far is Grouse.
The six things I could never do without
1.) God's grace.
There really isn't anything else I could never do without.
On a typical Friday night I am
...out lobster hooping, surrounded by dolphins, sea lions, and a couple weeks ago, Killer Whales!
