My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like sharing quiet places, always giving more than I receive, listening, respecting wisdom, and doing the same things differently.

I love learning and giving meaningful gifts. I keep the basic day-to-day everyday stuff simple, so I can spend more time doing what I consider important.

Like…being grateful for the opportunity to love and be loved, building a history of shared experiences, understanding what makes a heart beat, making a contribution, being creative, inspiring greatness in others, participating in sports, and just hanging out.

I try to enjoy the present, believe most people try to do the best they can, and grace is a wonderful gift to give to yourself and others. With each moment, I try to respond best I can, and let the rest take care of itself.

Regarding the day to day things that I do, I work as a project management consultant. For fun, I row my sliding seat rowboat on the lake (great restaurants on the other side, if you'd like to come), golf, bike, hike, workout and all the other things we do for fun.

I don't have a need to be always doing something. I can be very content to just enjoy the moment, wherever and whatever that may be. I am learning to write, though I say it with caution, as it is still a work in progress.

Thank you for allowing me to share this time with you. We connect through our words, visually through our pictures, but to know you...for me it takes meeting face to face, to see if there is that which we all are looking for, but so few ever find.

Is it worth a cup of coffee?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Stretching time, looking at where I am differently. Living with intention, giving back, paying it forward. And hopefully in the end, they will say mine was well lived.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
enjoying this moment!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I know for me, regardless of what I really notice, I try to find something nice to say. And I suspect that is what people say to me. What do they really notice, but don't want to say? That's what I am interested in knowing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Various books friends give me, mostly professional stuff, research. Movie: About Time, The Fault in our Stars, The Hundred Foot Journey, Gone Girl, Unbroken.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Five things I would prefer to have in my life:
Someone to love...
Family (two grown children) and friends
Just being...
Interesting fun stuff
Physical activity
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Anything and everything. I love to learn, look at things from other points of view, solve puzzles, occasionally mucking around in minutia. I will often do some type of activity where I can exercise and let my mind wander at the same time.

And better than thinking is listening... to my mind, body, what's going on around me, and to what's going on inside.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Just depends, sometimes I make plans and sometimes I don't. I have this running joke with my friends that Fridays are when I do my weekly grocery shopping because I can't get a date. Actually, I see a lot of nice women in the grocery store.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Living alone is getting easier, but I don't think it's what's best for me.
