I'm an almost-30 girl who embraces life and all the craziness it has to offer. The people in my life are my greatest source of joy. I adore my "we put the fun in dysfunctional" family, and have great relationships with my parents and sisters. I'm a Pacific Northwest native, who spent a little time in the great state of Texas, and am now finding out what the East Coast has to offer. I'm constantly on the lookout for anything that will become a great memory and story to tell later.

Right now I'm having an adventure! Just moved to the East Coast after living on the West Coast most my life.

Getting the giggles in inappropriate settings i.e. Easter Sermons and funerals. Finding the humor in pretty much any situation, even ones that almost no one else would (the "this will be funny in 5 years" rule doesn't apply to me, more like in 5 minutes) Recovering quickly after falling down in public places, like the subway stairs in NYC. I might be the most curious person you've ever met. I'm good at giving advice.

My hair. I'm quick to smile and laugh. I can be sweet as pie or as sarcastic as they come, depending on the setting and the audience.

Books: fiction across many genres. Chick Lit, John Grisham, Ender's Game and the Shadow series, Jodi Picoult, etc. etc.

Movies: The Sandlot, Big Fish, Amelie, Bollywood, The Last Samurai, Anne of Green Gables, chick flicks from the Meg Ryan/Sandra Bullock era, comedies, dramas. Just not super into raunchy comedy, horror or The Notebook. I hate that movie.

Shows: Arrested Development, 24 (both of which are getting mini comebacks, thank heavens!), Breaking Bad, New Girl, The Mindy Project, The Office seasons 1-4, Parks and Rec, Friday Night Lights, Roswell (guilty pleasure), Pushing Daisies

Music: seriously, a potpourri! I could never list everything I love to listen to. Just a teeny tiny sampling of my favorites include Guster, Joshua Radin, Ben Folds (and his Five), Cake, Fall Out Boy, Snow Patrol, old school John Mayer, Matisyahu, Meiko, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Metallica, lots of Top 40 stuff, classic rock, radio-friendly rap, great covers, old school country...from Dolly to Tim, oldies, 80's and 90's. The only music genres I avoid in general are Slow Jamz type R&B and really heavy screaming metal

Food: I like it all. Except Sushi but I still keep trying to like it.

My friends and family. I also tend to get excited about quirky things, like: stories of dogs using public transit in Russia, doctors curing brain diseases with super glue, and the national spelling bee. I'm fascinated by interpersonal relationships, people's stories and motivations. hot tub, Guitar Hero, music concerts, playing on a playground, hunting turtles in the suburbs, camping, stargazing, driving aimlessly with the windows down and music blaring, laying in a field and counting the stars, playing board games, singing karaoke, watching a movie, watching Netflix, the symphony, eating out, or (my favorite) goofing around with my friends.

Basically, if the company is good, I'm up for pretty much anything that isn't illegal or substance-dependent (spoiler alert, I'm not a big drinker. Sorry, Charlie).

When I was young I used to climb the cherry tree in my backyard and use my secret code book (aka the phone book) to spy on my teenage neighbor and his friends. They paid me back by mooning me.
