I’m just your everyday average home schooled sheep farmer boy. Well, as average as that can be.. lol
I am a very active person, whether it be with hiking, backpacking, camping, working out, playing basketball, rock climbing, and whatever else I get myself into.
On top of being a very active person, I also have a inner geeky side. I enjoy playing video games now and then, I love science fiction and fantasy movies and novels, and I tend to be fairly tech savvy.
I am a very easy going, random, sarcastic, mild mannered, open minded, strong willed, passionate, and independent person. I get along with just about anyone and everyone tends to love me once they get to know me. I can be shy or quiet at first if you were to meet me, but once I get to know you, I can be very outgoing, random, and silly.
I love art of any kind! When I was younger I used to draw a lot and was excepted into an art school. But with an injury with my hand and a rock, I drifted away from it and never went to school for it. Now I just appreciate drawings and paintings.
I especially love the art of music and am still actively playing guitar, bass, sing (or at least try to), and a little bit of piano.
I also recently got into photography and have been taking pictures of landscapes.
I love traveling! Whether it be a short trip within the state or a longer trip out of country. I'm fairly well traveled and was recently in Germany, Switzerland, and Prague to lead a workshop for youth. But I still have many places left I want to go to.
I enjoy playing all kinds of sports. I am willing to play just about anything. Plus with my position at work, I'm always getting to learn and play new and old games all the time.
Although I enjoy playing sports, I dislike watching sports and I do not fallow any team whatsoever. I get bored with watching sports on TV very quickly and would much rather go out and play them or do something fun and productive with my time.
Work is a big part of my life right now. I mainly work with youth and youth associated programs such as.. After School Programs, coaching PE classes, overseeing a rock-wall, overseeing and helping ref Basketball, Football, and Volleyball, and working in many different camp programs.
I have always wanted to make a difference in the world. I’ve come to the conclusion that the best way to make an impact is to make a positive influence with as many people as you can, and who more impressionable then our younger generation?
I hope that by working with our youth today, showing them my take and view on things, I can hopefully make their and our future better.
Now as far as to why I am on this site. I want someone who can be like a best friend, someone I can banter and debate over things with, someone who is down to earth (and not afraid to get some earth on them), someone who is as fluent in sarcasm as I am, someone who has the confidence to lead when they see the need but also know when to step back, someone who can be as random as I can, someone that is willing to just show up at my door unannounced and say "let's go do something!", someone that is willing to go for a drive for no good reason and with no real destination while singing loud in the car, someone who I can embarrass in public and then have them do the same to me, someone I can talk to hours on end about anything and everything.
I may be asking for too much.. But I hope that I'm not.
This is really all I can think of to put in this thing, So if you want to know more, Just ask. Or if you just want to strike up a conversation, I'm always willing to talk =)
“We often forget who we used to be, what we used to do, what all has happened in our life. Why? We all need to change, thats a fact, it's life.
But it seems like more and more people who try to change, change to and for what they want others to see them as and then in return tend to change for the worse.
When people change for the better. I think it's because they do remember and therefore they are changing not because of a want, but because of a knowledge of their own past...”
This is a quote of my own doing, and I'm damn proud of it! ^_^
