My Self-Summary
I believe in enjoying the pleasures of life: I can be something of a lush sometimes. But I'm big on the sensual fleshed out beyond flesh, into a meaning beyond our bodies. Again, don't get me wrong, I believe in the purely physical, but I believe that those experiences can have their own sacredness and enlightening/enriching quality to them. I am open with my sexuality, and am into certain kinks. If either of those things severely upsets you, we might not make the best of friends.
Hmm...lets see what else-- (in case you couldn't tell, I'm not having the most success in the world defining myself in a box, but here it goes).
I write a lot. I love words and linguistics and literature, poem, prose or otherwise. I'm in great awe, reverence and love of the enormous power of words to connect human beings. Sometimes i'll put my writing here: http://rosetintmyworld.deviantart.com
Things often happen in revelation for me. I dig ideas, and am constantly falling in and out of love with them. I dig philosophy, from the entire spectrum of it's recorded history. I also am very passionate about the study of mythology: the lexicon of world myths is, after all, the story of humanity.
I'm always looking for truths and truth-colored fictions
I can be crude and crass and blunt as hell. I could probably drink you under the table. I love whiskey, gin, beer and wine.
I tend to go off on tangents. A lot. And then go off on other tangents forever and ever. The points that I finish in linear order are a vast minority.
Most of the time when I am walking, I do not know where I am going. I get lost a lot; directions are not my strongest played hand. I'm alright with it though: it makes for some grand adventures.
I really love my friends.
My face is a traitor and I cant hide emotion to save my life. It is sometimes hard for me to argue reservedly and/or coolly about things that I feel passionately about, because within said arguments, what filter I do have gets overcome. I'm working on it; it's gotten much better, and has much bettering still to come.
I'm big on extending and receiving respect. common courtesy, etc.
I'm very synthaesthetic. Sometimes I forget that most people will not understand what I mean when I ask them what the color blue tastes like. When I think of numbers in my head, I think of colors and emotional temperaments. It makes me somewhat logistically math-retarded, but i dig it.
I am madly in love with the human race, though this love can be very "on-again-off-again". I'm not sure about whether my love is of the form of the ideal or the actual, but im guessing its some combination thereof.
I believe that life is an amazing thing, that we've all got our capacities, immeasurably outward in either direction.
The best thing in life, to me, is to connect to another human being. Yehuda Amichai called it "the weather of myself meeting the weather of another", which is a description I like sometimes.
Sleep and I have a very bizarre relationship. Always have, probably always will.
I'm big on community and sociopolitical activism. I'm big on learning about revolutions and coup d'états and resistance groups of the past and present, local/national and international. On the issues, so to speak, one would probably describe me as a left-leaning liberal, big on individual liberties and societal responsibility; my theoretical best-system would be some variant of marxist-socialist, but due to the actualities of the world we live in, this remains only a theoretical.
I love music and dancing and talking to strangers. I love meeting new people maybe more than anything.
I'm up for an adventure, a discussion, a dance, a debate, a life-changing event, a wild time, and in general, most things.
I'm big on living and being alive, but not to the point of delusion; I'm big on spectrums rather than absolutes.
Namaste!

What I’m doing with my life
I spend my occupational time right now being a student and pulling off odd-jobs so as to be less broke.
Beyond that, trying to create and love, and enrich myself as I take from the world around me.
Practically, there's no real way to equate that. I plan on having funds enough for food to eat and a roof over my head. Beyond that, I suppose my aspiration is to become a collector and teller of stories, preferably a traveling one, who brings the perspectives of people to other people who would have never known that perspective (and vice versa). Or maybe social work. Or both. Or something else entirely? Either way, I plan to try on leaving good\construction in my wake as opposed to destruction.
occasionally i think of other things to do with my life.
I’m really good at
...and apparently not identifying things I'm good at.
