I am funny, friendly, and kind.
My Self-Summary
I'm terrible at these things. How do you just "describe yourself?"
It's too vague or general. I once found a site that asked you
questions and made one of these based on the answers you gave, but
I don't remember what it was. Alas.
Anyway, I like
talking to people, playing
video
games, reading, and watching
TV--I know, who doesn't?
I guess if I have to come up with something unusual about me, I'd
say it's that I love
proofreading things. I don't know
why, it's just a weird hobby. So far, the marked-up books I've sent
back to publishers have failed to net me any job offers, for some
reason.
What I’m doing with my life
I just recently started a career (maybe?) in
marketing. A
history major, someday I plan to get a
doctorate and teach on a college level, but that's way in the
future. I'm also working out and trying to get back into shape.
I’m really good at
Proofreading. I don't even
realize I'm doing it sometimes. If there is a typo or grammar error
in anything I write--ever--trust me, I put it there on purpose for
some reason.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. Apparently it's nice. I have actually had strangers
approach me and ask if they can feel it, which is extremely
off-putting.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books:
David
Eddings and
Harry Potter. Also
Star Wars and just generally
sci-fi/fantasy.
Movies:
Waking Ned Devine,
Iron Man, the
Boondock
Saints, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
Music: I have a very eclectic itunes playlist but the one genre I
most consistantly listen to is Irish Folk/Rock.
Food: Steak. Mmmmm steak. I once had a 40oz porterhouse (not in one
sitting, of course!) It was the most beautiful thing I have ever
seen on a plate.
The six things I could never do without
My iphone, whatever book I'm reading, my GPS (i'd get lost), my
computer, my dog, and my family.
On a typical Friday night I am
Getting a drink after work with a buddy, watching a movie with my
family and/or playing xbox online with my college buddies who are
across the country. If it's summer, I'm probably out on the lake
towing people on inflatables at questionable speeds.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I have a tendency to tug on or twist a particular lock of my hair,
usually without realizing it. I'm not sure why I do this but I've
done it all my life. The only way to get myself to stop doing it is
to occupy my hands with something else (which is extremely
temporary) or to cut my hair too short for me to do it (and I don't
look as good with my hair practically buzzed.)
You should message me if
If you are a geek. Geek girls are the most wonderful females on the
planet.
If you know the ultimate question of life, the universe, and
everything.
Or, if anything about my profile makes you want to. I always like
talking to new people. :)
